  1. what's your location? wirral as in england?
  2. i hear ya. I wish all ke70's looked like the one in your avatar, I personally run 13's on all my corollas at the moment, but i have dabbled in bigger sizes. ;) anyway, I'll see what it looks like when we're test fitting, maybe trying on a set of 13's might twist his arm the other way too...
  3. looks great Tenny. impressive first car :D
  4. i've got use of a factory in clayton, so not too far from you, but i live in croydon. I might be down there tomorrow, but more likely on the weekend. my number's 0422 328 332. -dave
  5. looks like the weathershields are for a four door ke10 :(

    Hello

Hi Rob, did you get the pics of my ke25? -dave
  7. there is a fuse and relay box in the drivers kick panel next to the accelerator pedal. a fuse in there is linked to the lights you mention. that would be a good place to start.
  8. if you want to do a test fit with some hub adapters, I have some in melb you can try before you go buy some. I also have some 17's to compare that i had on my AE71, then on the Ke38 that looked good. as for the comments on 15's being the biggest you go, that's opinion. take it or leave it. it's your car. -Dave
  9. that looks delicious :D I love it. top job.
  10. a multimeter should tell you all you need to know with the current wiring in place. have you got power at the coil with the ignition on? what are your points like? gapped correctly? if you compare to josh's car, as long as you have power where you need it you'll be right.
  11. my mate Campbell who has the orange 240c coupe that was at all Japan day had seen this at centre rd and was quite upset to see that it was in the yard. he wanted to save it, but didn't have the space. I told him yesterday that it had gone to a good home, so he was a lot happier. he said he'd like to come and have a look at it sometime and he may be able to give you some tips/help on the cosmetic resto part of it. he's a classic car detailing wizard.
  12. i'd replace that air filter before trying to start it  looks like an excellent project. i'm 99% sure i have a full set of glass for this bad boy and door trims too if you 're interested. -dave
  13. does it have a good battery in it? check power to the coil, check power to the distributor, check points condition and gap (and rotor button and cap), check static timing, report your findings here.
  14. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/pts/2963741683.html bumperbar for you :D
  15. Hi Guys and Gals of Rollaclub, i'm embarrased and proud to say that my TE27 is in Fast Fours  :D When I was first asked if i wanted my car featured, I said I didn't think it would be right for that particular mag, but the editor was apparently trying to get a bit more old school flavour into it to get back some readers who may have been turned off by all the modern cars. anywho, it's the April edition with the VW golf on the front. enjoy! -Dave
  16. points gap, timing. did you put in new points and condenser too? new dizzy cap and rotor button? does it miss under load and normal driving? or just idle?
  17. can't give if nobody there to take :D
  18. you'll probably need a 4k or 5k flywheel too. :D
  19. but not over the 7k clutch. you'll have to use a 4k or 5k clutch
  20. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/34832-wtd-67-ke10-parts-updated/page__gopid__591727#entry591727 ;)
  21. check all the bolts and nuts holding the manifolds to the head are tight. vacuum leaks around the inlet manifold will cause a bit of this. also check your timing if you haven't already
  22. Spotted NSW plates IKE 010 on a matt black/dk green early ke10 in Lorne yesterday :D
