Its gonna be dangerous. We've got a loader with a steering wheel and stick steer. Its really tricky to drive with the stick steer...can be very jerky if youre not used to it. Luckily the loaders top speeds 38kmph (it weighs upwards of 40 tonnes) but at highway speeds :P hope theyve got it sorted out. Stick steer has been around in earthmoving machinery since at least the 80s so its nothing new.

Is it like a harsh cut in power (i.e. no power)? Idles fine? Try taking the vac line off vac advance and see if it stops. I had this problem and after stripping the carby down didnt fix it, I started taking off random vac lines until voila it went away. I suspect its just a short inside the distributor somewhere.

The Puerto Ricans were very very impressive. Out of all of their cars, only one of them had issues on the track (engine misfire). The little KE15 ran an awesome pass every pass (In the 7s). Those guys have such a nice no bullshit approach to building awesome drag cars. When compared to some of our top drag teams its rather embarrasing!! That was an awesome run all round. Him and George from PAC in an MX6 played start line games. The Camry gave in and staged first only to flog george down the quarter (who red lighted anyway) and took his record in the Pro Turbo class (I think). Great to see the pistons under 8cyl can take it up to the rotor boys. Just about to sort through my photos.

don't forget Reese McGregor and his R32 GTR who beat his own world record (set on wednesday at 7.59 beating the HKS record of 7.67). Ran a 7.57 @ over 190mph. I'm sure its got more left in it! Just makes it look so easy...

Lotus Esprit, TVR Cerbera & Tuscan Racer are the ones I can confirm....but pretty much any flat plane V8. I believe ferrari V8s are included in this list. Why do they make so much power and rev so hard when compared to american V8s (cross plane)? Isnt there a new class or something thats going to be RWD and N/A? I remember hearing something about it but I don't remember much. Perhaps hes just doing it to get a bit of hands on experience with something similar?
