What's The Stock Wheel Silver Paint Code
Jono.C replied to altezzaclub's topic in Automotive Discussion
It was Reed who posted it so he'd be best to ask I reckon -
Which springs? I can honestly say the Ke20 spring hat idea didn't work on my car. The ke10 spring just expanded out and took up the distance, so was equally as high, yes even softer than factory due to being under less tension.. Was about 5mm lower max
-
Why the need for ke20 spring tops? Thought you said it had ke20 struts in it?
-
I have 2 ke10s and a Celica. The other day I looked at a datsun 1000 2 door and another corolla.. currently looking at stashing both of them in a mate's shed. I think I have a problem.
-
Wasn't sure if you need it for rego or not
-
No carpet?
-
Powdercoating looks sweet, it's a nice change from chromed this and polished that..

Provide some sexual favors to strangers for cash Willis! It's worth it for da skidz. I heard you were a regular at it anyway?

To dig up an old thread.. It was said that: "KE1X tie rods have 2 thread types. Course and fine. Course thread is M12X1.5 Fine thread is M12X1.25" Does anyone know what ke70 tie rod end thread is?

Big wheels = weight as well. Hence why I might find some alloys or something in a 6.5 and get some decent tyres on them for anything mildly serious Because my steelies are a gargantuan weight
-
Fark I've been slack with this.. The way this weathers looking though I'll be back into it asap! Few patches I want to fix up bodywise that I'm not happy with, then wet sand it, borrow a shed and finish the paint off. Then I'll borrow the exhaust, wheels etc out of the white one and get a dodgy pit pass on it for rego, then New headliner, replace carpet, fit all the trims etc, sleeve kit, swaybar, widened steelies and cruise it. Still some work left in it but I'm thinking of leaving this a nice relatively undefectable cruiser.

^ Congrats bro!

You can have stretched tyres and grip.. but really with a 205 stretched on a 9 you've only really got the same amount of rubber in contact as like a 165

Buying stuff online. Bought a heap of stuff lately (not car related) Jeans turn up, and they're button fly.. the single most annoying thing known to man!! I struggle when i'm sober, impossible once intoxicated! (First World Problems)

Yeah i know what you're saying man, But the price of the 'engine conversion' itself isn't too costly, it's then price of then upgrading the platform to utilize it that gets expensive

I *think* ra65 gives positive camber in a corolla? The steering knuckles are way too long, i'd go for some ae86 p/s knuckles Just watch you don't put so much camber on that the wheels hit the guards. As far as the perch issue i'd cut it as close to the ke30 strut as you can, mark out the ra65 size hole in it and do it neatly with a Dremel
