  1. Yeah they're both the same.. They're not for my Corolla, They're to go in the back of my Celica which is considerably heavier, so maybe it'll loosen them up a bit and they'll free up a bit.. Here's hoping anyway! Well they're not supposed to be as stiff as they are.. They're just Excel G's
  2. Ouch. Going rebuild or putting something else on?
  3. The screws are on the diagonal door frame under the rubber from memory, i'm pretty sure there's a bolt or 2 behind the door cards that hold it as well?
  4. So you reckon if i put them in and drive for a week or so they may soften up a bit?
  5. G'day guys. I've got a pair of Excel G Rear shocks here, 344223. Which suggests Mitsubishi. They look practically new, i bought them off a mate of mine who had them in his 3tgte T18. No i know Excel G's are stiff, but i'm beginning to think these are fubar.. Pushing down on them neither me, or any of my mates can get them past about 10mm compression, and it's a bloody stiff 10mm.. Been pulling all kinds of Hulk moves on these bad boys and can't figure it out. They've been in his car and he reckoned they haven't been laying down.. So is it likely these are Fubar'd? Or need to be used to soften up?
  6. There's 2 kinds of ke70 drifters though. And the group who cover their cars in JDM as fck stickers etc are usually the ones who pay the most for stuff, whether to impress their mates at Maccas carparks or ignorance of pricing i'm not. Anyway personal views aside.. It is do-able, but is it worth it? Is the question
  7. I reckon Willis is on the ball.. $1500 or even less for a GZE with loom and ecu. Buying all those parts could end up near that.. 300 for a charger, 150~ for injectors + rebuild, Gze loom + ecu couple of hundred again.. Sell your motor for $1200 bucks to some JDM as fcuk drift nut and purchase a GZE. Thing is though, i wouldn't run one in front of a t50 or a borgy.. I know people have.. But still
  8. I really should have organised something..
  9. Ke70's have smaller springs than ke30 ^
  10. Great driving display here
  11. You wont be able to tilt stock ke30 struts in. You can however put longer lower control arms in to get camber that way (ke25, sigma etc)
  12. Get a scraper or a blade and run it between the liner and the steel. From memory they're glued. Quarter glass as the little triangle glass in front door?
  13. I have mixed feelings with e-go. They can take ages, and sometimes don't even call when something's arrived. Also they've lost things of mine before.. but they are cheap
  14. I still don't understand this twin turbo Sr20 remark, or why he believes the turbo and manifold weigh 60 kg..
  15. ^ Hipster Filter
  16. They both look ke30/55 shifter position.. the top ones much bulkier though.. I'd say top is ke55 and bottom is ke20 at a guess Edit, that top one is weird.. don't think I've had a K gearbox that bulky before.. almost looks like an auto box but it's not..
  17. I wouldn't use blocks at all! they're down right stupid in my opinion.. Especially these jokers running 4" blocks! Flip the eyes and reset them.. Hell even flipped leaves would be better than blocks..
  18. As i said on FB, Looks/ Sounds sick on that video dude!
  19. Those are the timing marks on the cover.. lol. What you use to set the timing..
  20. Yeah i'm pretty sure it does. Or atleast it'll be much easier to remove if it's off the car
  21. You should be right, I doubt you'll cook them drifting
  22. Yeah that was a bit shit haha, ill spray over it again soon. It's only temporary.. Besides i ran out of black paint doing it with the compressor, then i had a matte black can which ran out, and a gloss black can and i hadn't finished it.. All i had left was vynal spray.. So that's what i used haha
  23. Has anyone else who's ever wrecked a ke10, or got in one after they've been closed for a while, noticed that they all have the exact same shit smell?
  24. Put in some hefty hours bringing this boot lid back to life. Should be sprayed Tuesday hopefully! Next is the bonnet.. I pulled mine off ready for repairing and sprayed my spare one black.. as i figured black would look better than shitty 40 year old beige/ yellow.. Takumi Fujiwara spec. The bonnets not great, in short it's fecked.. But i'll see what i can do. How it currently stands.. Lol.
  25. Megan can't suck too much? There's a couple of Top spec drift '86's that run them, One of the D1 ae86's had Megan Racing coilovers
