  1. 1: They're not in/ for a ke10 2: I'm not actually running them, i was inquiring about them. Kyle, who i bought them off used them with no faults a while before i bought them.. 3: Shocks are a bit different than a whole rear end.. takes 15 minutes to change a pair of shocks Yeah but 1968 suspension is 1968 suspension either way you look it.. Why put something 40 years old in your car when you can pick something more readily available and better thought out/ engineered..
  2. The way i see it, If it's been sitting around for a fair while - Wheel bearings probably knackered - Bushes probably old and hard/ cracked - Brake hoses knackered Plus i bet you it's a horrific smell when you open the doors, All old toyota's end up with the same, old, dank smell haha
  3. Hopefully that's sarcasm!
  4. I think i saw he said GCG were going to charge like $900 just to pull it apart and look at it?
  5. That is true.. But the camber it obtains from ever minor lowering is horrendous
  6. Good effort Ben!
  7. Datsun 1600 rear end is a horrible design though..
  8. The factory shocks never go that high though
  9. My internet is fully shit, average around 30kb/s.. Get up to 350~kb/s very late in the night at times.. Used to get 1200kb/s at Tafe.. Take a lot of hours to net my 4TB Movie/ Tv Show library haha
  10. Got it all set up and stuff, i linked her a torrent, total download size was 1.3GB After literally 30 seconds she's like why is it so slow? it hasn't downloaded yet? it just says downloading.. Fwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
  11. On the gearbox? or on the clutch pedal inside the car?
  12. Never again will i try and teach a girl what is/ and how to Torrent...
  13. Yeah that's what i thought! I still want to make a mesh one with aluminum strips top and bottom.. It just had way too much chrome on the front, and looked a bit average in the sun, And as i said to you a minute ago i'm keen for that bumper to go away!
  14. Also how it looks currently..
  15. I've spent near on 5 hours making rails for a seat.. Piece of shit. RA65 seats trying to do it properly.. They're mounted to the sides so i had to mod the factory rails.. So i chopped off all the bits hanging off, took out the sliding rails, chopped the inner sides off the rails, bent a piece out top and bottom and flattened + drilled, Re-drilled the rear holes on the ke10 mounts to fit, mounted them on flat bar.. Done! They fit sweet now, Super low, nice and buckety, work just like the factory seat. M.i.n.t Also Sprayed those bits of primer i put on the car a month or so go. Really getting the hang of this compressor.. And fitted my black grill. Once the white bonnet is back on it'll be sweet! How they were.. After chopping off all the bits and slicing a side of the rail off/ creating tabs Ke10 rail(s) mounted!
  16. My Celica i had to do twice because the clear coat clouded.. But factoring everything in It cost about $300 to spray including paint, thinners, paper etc and it came out damn well, i'm stoked with it. Once it's polished it'll be sweet
  17. I just knew you'd post something like that Reed. hahaha
  18. Well as far as i can tell unless it's a pearl etc it's just a generic price per Litre.. I did my Celica, the whole thing besides the engine bay in 2 1/2 litres, 3 coats.. That's door jams, inside of the hatch, inside the boot etc Acrylic is better to spray IMO. I get thinners from Autobarn. It's $28~ for 4 litres! In Bunnings it's like $45 when i checked last week
  19. 4 Litres? 2 would cover the whole car in about 3/4 layers if you spray it all at once. Cost me $50 a litre for enamel or acrylic to be mixed to whatever i want. Even custom mixes.. So not quite as bad as you'd think! Also you can ask for it without the metallic flakes etc when you have it mixed
  20. I agree partly, there are a lot of people who just aim for -3/4 camber on their ke70's etc without knowing what it does.. But for those who actually know what it does, It can make quite a bit of difference, And it will in my ke10.. Mind you i only need around -1.5 so not in your face or anything..
  21. I've got a ke55 box in one of my ke10s, I had a ke70 4 speed gearlever in it and it worked fine
  22. Well, for me it's more of a use what I've got type deal.. Lowering the rear of it and my factory are too long to be useful, these are pretty much the perfect height. It's not a race car so I'm not 100% phased on matching spring rates to shocks etc, just holding them captive and having a decent stroke length
  23. Yeah ke55 is wrong for that box. What type of shifter do you want? I've got a ke20 and ke70 one, they both fit. Ke70 sits dead upright, the ke20 is bent back towards the handbrake like the original ke55 one. I'd be willing to post you one if you get stuck/ I can find them
