  • 2 weeks later...

Hey guys, just been working on my 20 and 26! I got an aftermarket sway bar, pic here comparing between standard 20 and aftermarket.

http://img229.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc02177ia6.jpg

If people are interested PM me and i might go see if i can get Selby's to make copies. Also they are good for 4age conversion as it gives more space between the sway bar and sump. Anyways just an idea!

Also putting a rebuilt 4k in my 26 now! As the 3k acts as if it has a smoke machine installed in it :) . Also my microtech arrives tomorrow so the 4agze is getting closer to getting into the 20!

Cheers

Mic

Bit of an update on mine.

Now all plastic (grille, under grille trim, front corners, bonnet trim, scoops, and taillight surrounds) painted black, black 12x4 inch stockies in 155/80R12 Bridgestone B80 tyres with whitewalls, centre console removed, cd player relocated to glovebox, picnic rug in boot ( :P ), standard 4KC Aisan carby and filter painted black, new 2 inch exhaust with single offset flow muffler and 3 inch rear pipe and 3 inch chrome droopy tip, and last but not least gave it all a good clean, polish, tyreshine, pressure washed all engine bay and undercarriage.

Nanna/pimp spec nearly complete now, get ivory ventians early next week, back will be lowered another 2 inches next week, lawn bowls sticker.

Will have a few update pics to go up tomorrow.

So heres what mine looked like less than 1 and a half weeks ago. It has had one hell of a transformation now though.

Well my microtech arrived the other day. I started to put the interior together in my 20, but need to do some welding to make some stronger seat mounts. The 20's engine bay had a good clean, plus gave it another coat of black. Now just need to find an upgrade for my brake master, and get the last few things for the 4agze. Then hopefully put the motor in for the last time :no2:

The 26's engine seems to be blowing more and more smoke, so it looks like the swap to a 4k will have to happen next week before i get defected :P . So i get the new 4k on sunday hopefully, then do a full gasket kit to it then get it ready to chuck in next week! Will have to more around the 20 tho, as i am running outta room, FAST!!

Anyway just thought i'd keep you guys updated,

Cheers

Mic

Hi guys. Thanks for the positive comments! I really appreciate it. I will try to add an engine bay shot in the next few days. The brake booster is located where the glove box was. I now have a flat one piece dashboard, so no need for a glove box! The master cylinder is from an XB Falcon. It required an extra plate welded to the firewall for strength and obviously new holes to be drilled. The back edge of the manifold was trimmed approximately 15mm for clearance. Specialised Brake and Clutch at St Marys did it for me.
