Just got a phone call from the engine rebuilder. I guess it was good news. Seems as though the old fuel pump had longer non genuine bolts. When I removed it and put a plate over it I used the same bolts as my plate was 4mm thinner. Unfortunatly this 4mm was enough to hit the cam. I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT! :unsure: Atleast now we are getting a mild cam and larger valves STUPID,STUPID,STUPID. Oh well! hope somebody else can learn from this.

The company across the road from where i work is a photography studio. I was approached a few weeks back to help them out with a photo shoot for worksafe week,as the photographers all had double jointed fingers that didnt photograph well. So heres my hand thats featured in the Herald Sun and other major newspapers down here in Melb. I'm still waiting to see if my hand makes it onto billboards. The same company has got the Holden/GMC contract to photograph all the latest Holdens before they hit the showrooms. They also photographs heaps of Ferrari's, Lambo's, Lotus's etc. Jamie will be happy to know that i did it all for a bottle of Jim Beam. :harhar:

ok i scared the living shit outta kristy (and myself) trying to light the floor furnace...... after 3 "backfires" i gave up does anyone know how to light one? 1) there is NO under house access, and no ports to the heater there 2) there are 2 knobs, no id plates 3) there is ONE access port right in the center of it someone help before i blow up the house. Well seeing as I love the 15 second exposure function on my camera, I decided lastnight would be the perfect time to get some shots of the lightning.

Ive started using 98RON fuel with 10% ethanol and I LOVE how its going. Slight ignition tweeks and I need to change my secondary jets up a size or two but Ive picked up BUCKETLOADS of torque. I'm not so concerned about all the shit people talk about ethanol. Ive weighed up the risks and I'm willing to take them. The reason I think I'm getting a bit more kick is because ethanols naturally oxygenated...so its like a low grade racing fuel. Yippie! If you can find the stuff (its not always easy to find the 98 RON) give it a shot if your game :D

Thought I'd display what I did last night, its a modded XR8... it was done on Fireworks. Pretty shit, forgot to remove the extra Falcon sign, but thats what you get when you live in the ghetto...
