think so. like a release engine and later model engine......but then were does a ke10 with a 5k fit in?? know what I mean, that ke10 is in the same section as your car!
-
in the cross breed section though. me and the nobbler are still running original engines! :P

:D :) lost the top spot !!!! spewn! oh well 0.2 of a second to take off and I haven't done a quarter pass with the new turbo yet, probably won't be until tassie nats in march!! reckon its pretty safe to say i'll be nudging mid 15's though!! :P

ok, you seem like pretty clued on fella so you should be able to understand the concept of this. bascially you need to get the diaphragm to the other end of the solenoid so it can be pushed in, not pulled out. I tried doing this to a couple of spare solenoids I had. hardest thing to do it drill through the back of the solenoid WITHOUT GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH THE DIAPHRAGM, which is what i did twice. diaphragms with holes in them don't tend to work to well!! :P also need to right sized spring that is stronger than the original one so that it pushes it back. :D

:D far from it, but I'm learning. There is somebody else who is a registered member here who I would refer to as that!! Madrolla68 would be about the only person who know who I mean. :P

top work matt. good to see you stuck with it too. Darren told me you were having a few dramas. It almost sounds like my bridge port at idle!! :P
-
Hey cam, I can explain this to you, might even give you some drawings with my awesome mspaint skilz!! your just gunna have to wait for me to go have a coffee with the missus first. :P stay tuned. :D

didn't like that bumper so I swapped it for this one. has been thoroughly cleaned but not polished yet. :) when doing the wiring, I ran it into the guards just next to where it comes throught the fire wall and used an old bung as a grommet. spend nearly 2 hours vacuuming. did you use it as a kennel or something rob?? :P fark there was some dog hair in it!! :D can you tell which side has been done?? :hmm: finished.

ok, heres some updated pics I promised. front end is all painted and together. hididng the wiring is all done too.

because he can't stop the computer from advancing the timing. but if he uses another dizzy like yours it will cause him other dramas, ie computer not knowing when to fire injectors!! :)
-
cool, sounds like things are doing pretty well then. :) is 12 the highest you've run yet? even with the cam the torques awesome hey?

what do you just have a standard header set-up. Yeah, extractors will make a difference. Think of it this way: Would it be easier to take a shit if you had a bigger more free flowing arse hole!!!?? :) same with intake, can "eat" more air if you have a bigger mouth!! but then a big mouth isn't all that much better if you don't have an appropiately sized throat (manifold, ports and valves). BTW matty, when we gunna see a vid so we can hear what she sounds like now?? :)

thats what Jade needs Q!! did you know he's cracked a piston already!?

got heaps of work done last night. :) Spayed front and back of front panel, after cutting extra holes for flow through the radiator. also cut heap out of the passenger side of the front to try and mount the cooler far enough back that I don't have to cut the grill. also painted headlight brackets and the bonnet latch and re-did the stone tray, all matt black. Bolted all of the front end back on. also put on another badgeless grill that has been sprayed gloss black. Looking pretty cool, will have more pix soon. :o Oh, and ALL wiring apart from fuel system and main run up the car is done. engine bay looks so much cleaner now without any wiring!! :)

when I was a young tacker and didn't know much about cars I drove my rolla round hobart for about a month with a blown head gasket (didn't know that was the problem). Then drove it to Launceston!!!! (about 200km) :) boiled it dry half way, topped it up in oatlands, and kept on driving!! :o Once I got to Launy, one of my mates worked out what was wrong by: the "mayonaise"under the oil cap, steam porring out the exhaust, exhaust gas bubbles coming out of the header tank, and engine oil that looked like a 50/50 mix of cream and gravy!!! :) needle to say, the old girl didn't make it back to hobart in that condition........but I reckon if I really had to, then it still would have made it with a million water top ups!! BTW, I've pumped up 15psi into a standard internal 4k and it still loving 145-150psi of compression in all pots over a year and a half of having boost. oh yeah, I still have the same engine as in the above story. 8S

My House. Sorry, I didn't put an address or anything as most Launy rollaclub members have bought parts off me and know where I live. Had an awesome day, not a huge turnout but ok. cranked the PA!! being able to WATCH the countdown was cool too. whenever they did interviews, intros etc you could see the DJ's, then film clips when the songs were on. if the song didn't have a film clip they just showed live footage of people dancing and stuff at Hyde Park. Had a pool going too for the top song, 2 songs each, $2 a song, closest to number 1 took the pot (which turned out to be over $30) I was spewing, my 2 where MCR - The Black Parade (#13), and HTH - The Hard Road (#3). So I got second as my flat mate picked black fingernails, red wine. Nobody even thought of Augy March!! :D

thanks guys I drive a work van so both my cars don't get driven that often...mazda hasn't been driven since sports compacts (but thats cause the diffs hell noisy) plan with the corolla is to have a tough 4k thats still practical but equipped for a club day etc. mazda will always out power it but also out handle and out break but thats just gunna be a nice comfortable, 4 door, but still fast cruiser. :D

no just a welded centre. come down to car accessories and ask for some sub box tie straps, they have clips on them so they are easily removable. I just used some to secure my fuel cell.
-
finally got my bolt ons. just getting the holes right to start off with, then I'll take them back off and paint them up. put some better wheels on too, still need a bit more offset though!! :D got the dash all finished now too.

engine bay before I started, will have a pic of it all clean soon. btw this cross member is modified for a T series and will be for sle if anbody wants it!!!!! Pulled the fuel tank out and lines out, gave the boot bout an hour of scrubbing, and fitted the fuel cell.
