  1. Why don't you read the post again and then read mine, He said there were 2 different sized v6's. People have had 3sgte's engineered in E7 & E8's so it could be a option, The atmo fto v6's aren't bad driving wise, Bit of power when you need it, I had a 05 triton 3.5 v6 for a work ute and for a weight of 2200kg's it hammered but not sure if you can do a 3.5 conversion.
  2. They only had a 2L v6 and a 1.8L 4.
  3. Bout time you updated Johno.
  4. Wayne Wesling (None of you have probably heard of him) a guy I used to work with at road & track put together an N/A 3k or 4k (can't remember) which made 160 hp, Spose it would be pretty quick.
  5. It was twincharged, not twin turbo, Have looked into it and would only be beneficial with 2 IHI RHB31, Doubt I will ever do it.
  6. This stuff used to be sold with adhesive on the back on it, Why has it changed?
  7. Anyone here know anything about AE82's  AE70 and I were actually going to do this 3 years ago with the cars, Kinda like a gregory's manual but we were always too busy and never got around to it. Shortly I am going to be doing an AE82 single cam to twincam conversion guide/walkthrough but that is when I pick up the car. - 4age RWD, If you have the RWD waterpump and alternator setup and aren't bothered running the heater or throttle body cooling then an easy way around this is to use the rwd 4ac bypass pipe and an AE82 4age rear water housing and use a 90 degree hose between the 2. - AW11 mr2 - The internal airbox resistor that always fails is also the same as an AE82. - Celica & MR2 Springs, ST162 through to ST205 rear springs are the same as AW11 rear springs. If we are going to do a categories then I will add more in there.
  8. I'm stupid, I thought you wanted the stacks to put in an airbox. So no filters or are you going to put the old ones on. Cruise time soon
  9. Sweet Matt, You got the airbox sorted out as yet?
  10. I come look?
  11. Tried to say that but he thought I was talking about opening it.
  12. I want the Worlds Most Useless Machine. I hope no one has gone and got a 1000 watt amp now either, HA
  13. Yeah that's what I am thinking, My brothers one doesn't do what he asked it too do.
  14. Put the key in and turn it to the unlock position, If that does not work PM me your details and I will come look.
  15. Where?
  16. That's the gallery Klutney :bash:
  17. Hey guys I am thinking about getting the torque converter in the Mrs car turned into an rpm stally so it takes off better, Anyone suggest any places in Bris that are good but also cheapish.
  18. You can make them work, you just need a 1000watt amp. Hook the remote wire of the amp up to the sense wire of the alternator but put a relay in between them triggered buy a toggle switch or accelerator switch, Make an rca to twincore wire converter and hook it up to the charging side of the alternator and turn the gain all the way up, Now hook the charger up to the amplifier in bridged mode, Now I have done this and tripled my horsepower. Goodluck.
  19. I still think the HP at idle is bullshit, The way they would of measured it is on an engine dyno which would of gave them the torque and then they would of done a manual calculation and got the hp fiqure which the engine is not making so to do it the engine at idle would have to be making 892ft lb of torque which I calculated from this: 5252 x 170 / 1000rpm = 892.84 And engine analyzer pro getting used for power outputs...
  20. You ever watch Beetle crisis? Very rarely see a fastback on there but its pretty good, There seems to be a lot of vw's in england. I am also trying to find the next VW drag meeting up here at willowbank raceway, If your apart of any vw clubs could you find out?
  21. I thought it was only kombi's :bash: Have a soft spot for these but they seem to be the unforgotten out of the VW, Daughter wants a pink bug...
  22. You still have stuff to do :bash:
  23. Altho the founders name was Toyoda, There is a pretty good documentary on the Toyota I watch over x-mas but I honestly can't remember what it was called.
  24. On the AE82's you lift the rear seat and the sender unit is under the removable cover.
