well, I'm currently making my own custom dash, only have 2 gauges and couple switches for my LEDS. + Went for a drive today in the rolla, um, its slow. But i still love her :)

sand, prime, sand, 1st coat (paint), sand with really smooth sandpaper, 2nd, 3rd coat, then couple coats of clear with some sanding between coats, not too much sanding with the 2nd and 3rd though.
