  1. you could always readjust your headlights....
  2. sounds like a noob zone question.....
  3. at the end of the day, it's just a f@$ken corolla.....get over it, not like they are worth anything. who cares what motor goes in it, so long as it makes you happy. corolla = cheap entertainment.
  4. LOL, i can understand completely. now is the time for mum/dad/kid bonding.
  5. i've never had any hassles running with ULP or PULP. you won't have problems unless you run to lean, or don't adjust your valve clearances on a regular basis. LOL. pilots in WW1 had the shits all the time from the castor oil in their fuel.
  6. i was talking to a guy online. he used an sc12 with a 4k aircon bracket. bolted straight up. the sc14 won't, without mods.
  7. treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen :D
  8. huge improvement. not
  9. well they just might get lucky for xmas. lol. didn't expect too much to change. long gone are the lunch time sleepins on the weekends...... we actually hide the controllers in our bedroom until after we get up these days. a lot of the time, they will still find something to bicker over. ah well, wouldn't change them for the world.
  10. congratulations. hope mum is well. get used to the sleep thing, it doesn't really improve over time. you just get used to operating on less sleep. my twins are now 5 and they still wake us up in the morning....fighting over trivial crap like the playstation and stuff.
  11. thought you had no money. also weren't you also after a crown or something?
  12. yep, seen a couple of them now. ever seen a datsun c30 1800 with a g18 motor? just like a datsun 1600 only bigger and better (has rack and pinion steering). a mate has one, was a south african import as far as we know. rarer than rocking horse shit. he was thinking of selling it, maybe i should buy it.
  13. just make sure you don't rest your knee near the gear lever whilst giving it to it, over a bit of choppy road.....it can hurt. i've been whacked in the knee before whilst having a dodgy gearbox mount. not much fun.
  14. i've only ever seen one 4 door ke20. Fook was there at the time, so i'm sure i wasn't seeing things.
  15. a dished 4k head and a 5k head are exactly the same casting. well, going by the ones i have here anyway.
  16. don't f@#k wif da wong..... ninja
  17. rainbow warrior ninja......fight for peace and quiet.
  18. three wise monkey midget ninjas
  19. midget ninja foot soldiers
  20. depending on the offset of your rx7 rims, i'd say the safest widest tyres are really a 185. maybe if you ran spacers on the fronts, and pumped both the front and rear guards you might get 225s under there. as jamie said, probably not the best for wet weather handling, also be very baggy. with my 13x5.5" mazda rims and 185/60 tyres, there is less than a fingerwidth between the front strut and the sidewall. the outside of the tyre is inline with the top of the guard. on the back, i had to lip the guards on the ke15, the ke16 doesn't scrub, but it has stiffer rear springs.
  21. also a large syringe with some vacuum tubing attached to the end is a very handy tool.
  22. maybe try hollowing out one or more old spark plugs??
  23. you crack me up fook. :D
  24. i have no answer for your problem, but: a while back we were having problems with the ke16. it kept blowing the warning guage fuse, and the indicators would stop working. i sort of tricked it for a while by putting in a bigger fuse, but it got to the point that you had to put in a new fuse to check the fuel level, then remove it before starting the car, just to be able to run it. not ideal without indicators at the time, but we lived up the mountain then and it only went to the local school. i spent ages trying to fix it, over a period of weeks. one day i traced out the wiring and the reversing light switch was linked to the warning guages. turned out the reverse light wire had worn through and was shorting out on the back of the engine block.....problem solved. bah, amazing how something so simple can cause so much grief.
  25. really? i have had a few dished piston 4ks. going off the factory cast numbers on the insides of the skirts of the pistons, two identified as 4k-e and one a 4k-u, this from japanese piston manufacturer catalogs.
