  1. Thats not a bad number mate. Many dynos are jacked to keep the customers happy. So thats probly fair and fine. Love the torque though. What do those things weigh? Must be a smile machine.
  2. Its going to be 3 nil to Queensland. Ha Ha Ha! Kimmorley will have a shocker in a big match as usual. I'm tipping Ingliss for a double.
  3. Have you played gta san andreas? how about modding it to include an ae86 as one of the cars? Well you should give it a go. there are tons of modded cars created for the game. just google gta mods or mta and youll be right.
  4. I will definitely make it to this event. count me in.
  5. Oh mate, what a mission. Good luck with the resto. :sob:
  6. Yeah dude, pics please. Especially of the bay!
  7. Welocome, mate. Love the chrome bumpers and the paint on the 86. Keep us posted!
  8. Yeah Trev, get a wiggle on. Post up ya flex plate for me as I'm auto illiterate.
  9. Hello everyone. Just wondering what swaps people have done with putting different seats into their xE7xs'. Ill start us off by saying that with a single rail swap and a flare of one bolt hole the RA40 seat from my parts car bolted in really nicely. The bum was a bit lower than the ae71 seat. Would definitely suit a Person 6 foot 4 or so. A little low for me at 6 feet tall though. Looking for ideas about seats from other cars more so than after market stuff, but please post if there was a particularly elegant install of an after market unit that you did and how. Thanks in advance, Matt.
  10. That is one sexy fuel pickup. ;)
  11. 'There is only one set of 15" wheels available at this time and they are silver w/polished lip. They are $525 per set. You would have one of the following shipping options: Global Express Mail 3-5 Days $408 Airmail Parcel Post Mail 6-10 Days $368 Economy shipping is no longer available as of 5/14/07.' From T3 themselves, Bummer.
  12. Ive emailed t3 for a quote on shipping, but last time Brad checked it was 180 dollars US and a six week delivery period. Not too shabby, bar the waiting.
  13. Oh gosh I'm impressed. Hows the attention to detail, still like the day you started? (i usually start strong and fade). I admire your patience and commitment. Matt ;) :bash:
  14. I had a strange resonant vibration that was really hard to find in a car once. It was the exhaust pushed against a part of the chassis, that transferred engine vibes thru the whole car. At most speeds it was not noticable, but at 60klm/h it made a hell of a noise and shake, so good luck. Are your mounts for the driveline tight?
  15. Congrats, Des. Takiteeeezy Uleh!
  16. Id have to agree that the Konigs are a nicer wheel than superlites or watanabes even, and T3 has a pretty damn reasonable price if it weren't for shipping.
  17. When dealing with importers, speak softly and carry a big stick. Seriously, tho, they tried to steal my loom, alternator, and starter when i bought my engine.
  18. If you have an ae71 i suggest putting in a ra40 seat. It will drop you a fair bit lower than the standard one, other than that, I'm no help.
  19. Categories? Well, should we just say the fastest is the fastest? If you are going to split the times into categories, then why not rwd, fwd, 4wd, 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, etc. Thats similar to how the actual competitive drag racing records are kept is it not? Anyhow, Id be happy to break 15 with my atmo 20v and lsd. We will find out next month i hope.
  20. Hey buddy, allow me to impersonate a moderator. There is exhaustive discussions on this topic on this site, you will need to read the FAQ section and then start searching the tech sections, or rides and projects, to see what others have done. Welcome to rollaclub, and where are you from?
  21. This is exciting trev, we are about to have wave of 4age powered rollas on the streets in Brissy. It just sucks balls that when you get your boost going you will flog me. Wah, Wah!
  22. Woot, go the auto! Test and tune is coming, tick, tock, tick, tock....
  23. Spend the money for the best tools you can possibly buy. Its worth it and will add to your enjoyment of your car. I have a mixture of stanley, kingchrome, Metrinch, sidchrome, snap-on and cheap shit for the ones that don't matter. The sidchromes are the nicest to use because they seem to fit the bolts well and feel very good and firm, even open ended. The Metrinch sockets are great for the wreckers because they fit metric and imperial with the same sockets. Saves a lot of mucking about.
  24. I'm tentatively in, should have the spirit purring by then hopefully, and at the peak of her powers. Brewhahahahahahaha. (laugh with evil inflection).
  25. looks sweet trev. Put it in! You can do the box after.
