Well, yes, there are a tonne of engines that would suit. First of all, you mentioned 'the track'. Perhaps you could put this into context. Are you talking about drift, circuit, hill climbs, motorkhana, rally, drag, or shooting up heroin? Read the rules for the class you want to enter. Just so you don't build some crazy hybrid that excludes you from everything except trailering it to the the summernats and burning off tyres. If you intend to use the car on public roads, then please read the transport authority's' legislation too. People on rollaclub arent really going to encourage you to be too silly with modifications. Have a good hard look through rides and projcts and you will see some awesome inspiration. Welcome to Rollaclub, and please take the time to search and find your own info wherever possible, and please use punctuation to the best standard you can.

LittleRedSpirit replied to LittleRedSpirit's topic in General Mechanical
I wanna change it cause there is no way my standard unit will cope with summer. Pictures would be great if you have any, -
1973 Ta22 Celica Quad Throttle Bodies On A 13t
LittleRedSpirit replied to quadthrottle3t's topic in Rollaclub Rides
Terrific job detailing, mate. Jordan its a Haltech Ecu. Read the writing too. can't wait to see how the bodywork turns out. -
Looks pretty sweet, maybe freshen up the paint and install a much, much faster engine. The wheels look ok. Give em a polish and they will be nice. Are there many/any laws about what engine you can put in over there?

Hello. Just curious as to any radiators people have used to replace and upgrade the standard item in their AE71/KE70 4age project. Ill need one before the heat of summer kicks in. I'm looking for something about 410mm high, by 550mm wide, with both hose connections on the drivers side. So far my best option is looking like a rebuild of a standard one, to include 3 cores. This costs in the vacinity of 500 dollars, so Id rather find something potentially better and cheaper. I don't mind fabricating any mounts to make it fit. don't be shy now.

Ahhh, everything. Theres no 12 step program for this one. I dare you to do it and take a ton of photos and post it in rides and projects.

Thats been discussed a few times before also. Break some new ground, I reckon. Do your own research. Have a look at this straight six. :n: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...=9642&st=45

Ae82 Twin Cam Heater - Not Hot?
LittleRedSpirit replied to Glennyboy's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
Just trace all the control lines back from the switchblock and see if they work fine, failing that, buy an ae71 and pull the heater out. Heaters are pains in the ass, so have fun pulling the dash apart. -
grab a tape measure and go to the wreckers, its amazing what kind of combos you can come up with. You could try xt130 corona lcas if youd like a mild amount of negative camber. Go hard on the search tool too.

Ae71 Corolla Wagon Stolen In Browns Plains
LittleRedSpirit replied to Yota's topic in Automotive Discussion
Hey mate, any luck yet? On another note, there is a white keto for sale out near where I work. They are asking 650. Do you want me to suss it out for you and take pics? Just a thought. Matt -
Nice one Gilly, nice one indeed. Why have I never seen it around? Start lapping Indooroopilly so I can peep it. lol.
-
Cheers trev, they are quite different arent they.
-
Thats gay, so lucky there wasnt more damage done. PS, well done, looks like you didnt swerve. I have a 4x2 inch scar under my jaw from an accident when the driver swerved for wildlife.
-
What ecu are you running, kebin? Looks like a fairly smooth tune by the dyno sheet.
-
Thats a nice car mate. Can we see some more pictures of inside and under the bonnet? Please Please Please. Well worth the drive to collect it.

Seriously, cut standards are fine in the rear, just use short shocks which captivate them. But don't skimp on the front end. Thats where the magic happens. Stiffness isnt everything, not in the rear anyhow, but it depends if you want grip or not really. I do not think the kings you can buy at the moment are very low at all. They quoted me a ride height over the phone and it was exactly the same as i had with the standards. If your kings are old ones they could probly sit at a better height.

Anyone Know Anything About This?
LittleRedSpirit replied to Killswitch's topic in Automotive Discussion
If you just want to look at different 2 door ke70s, there are a few members who have them. Have a search, there is a link somewhere of someone in Norway with a turbo bmw 2.5l engine in one. Its awesome. -
It doesnt matter where it sits, but is the offset different? I was under the impression they were the same.
-
They look sweet bro You could let me road test them for you, lol. I'm thinking about getting either those or t3 ones. I really want to know if they do anything much first.

Ae71 Corolla Wagon Stolen In Browns Plains
LittleRedSpirit replied to Yota's topic in Automotive Discussion
Oh mate, no way. You are one person who really didnt deserve this! All I can say is karma will take care of it, don't stress too much. I might know where i can find you another ae71 really cheap, but its a sedan. Let me know if I can help in any way. Heres hoping you forgot to tighten something and they crash and die. Matt.
