Chassis rails as they disappear under the firewall. Often rust in the goose neck there. Particularly the left one.

Stormrider ute used to do 82 in first, 124 in second and 72 in reverse before the rev cut. :P

Trade tools do a brand called Force, and for home use, you'd struggle to find a better value/ money/ application than these. I have a Kincrome wall mount for home, but if I had my time again, I'd by a force one.

Dyno Dyno Dyno. Try Allstar tuning in Geebung (or they might be in Strathpine now...) They know Webers, and Richard knows what to do with them. You can be told sizings, but until it hits a dyno, it'll never be right.

Just paid rego on my two trailers and one of the race cars. Ow.

Carb-Tech in Redcliffe/ Clontarf have always done mine. It should also be noted that you're not going to get the tuning right until you have it dyno'd.

I use a long, thin diameter pin punch from the other side. You can usually get it past the shaft in the middle of the diff if you try hard enough.

Sadly, no. There's a shaft in the way that prevents this. where have you snapped the axle? Mine have always, without exception, sheared at the spline. Therefore the diff has always come out of the carrier easily and I've been able to knock the remains of the axle out on the bench.

18RG is an old technology boat anchor (and that from a man who plays with 2TG's....). They can be made to go well, but for the time and effort you may as well put something new in.
