  1. I have used 202 blue motor spring. Don't know the poundage, and they're a little bigger than the standards. I think I have a couple lying around if you want me to mail them to you for a trail fit.
  2. Redwarf thinks Irokin has excelled himself again.
  3. 18 month old thread. :)
  4. The only thread of yours recetly in the system that I can find is : http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=38714 Apart from a coule of pointless classified posts, there's nothing else of yours in the bin that I can see. R
  5. We are all individuals! Crowd: Yes! We are all individuals! Maybe not quite dead, but certainally on life support.
  6. Hell, I remember the day when I was GIVING away better examples of Corollas than what some people want $500-$1000 for. I can see the bubble bursting shortly, and only the original unmolested ones being worth something. Hell, I bought my 25 for $200 about 20 years ago and the thing is still going. I can see how pople build cars for a style, however most of the time the style is not me. I suppose I'm old school. I just have corolla's to go fast in and to have fun with. But at the end of the day, it doesn't even have to be a Corolla. *sigh* I'm rambling.
  7. I've driven them virtually new. You are right, they will go anywhere, as long as anywhere is within 30 minutes drive, otherwise it's six weeks of physio. I agree with the correctly set-up statement, but you shouldn't have to spend dollars to make a car driveable.
  8. Seriously, they are THE most uncomfortable and unegonomic vehicle I've ever driven. They have kidney belts that fall from the roof when you hit a big enough bump.
  9. I know I'm going to get caned for this, but $7K will get you a nice VT wagon with all the mod cons. Nice to drive, parts are dirt cheap, fuel economy is not super tragic. Leave it stock and nobody will look at you twice. I've had two Commodore wagons, one was magic, and the other satisfactory. I'd put that one in the mix.
  10. I can see you in an 8 Lesley. Nice car, good to drive although heavy on petrol. And remember to check the oil every two tanks of fuel. No seriously, that's what they recommend. They tend to use a bit. I got to drive 4 different race tracks in an RX8 GT taking people for rides, and I'm really partial to them now. It was a pearl white one with gun metal grey 19's. :hmm: One of the other instructors I work with just got rid of his MPS6 for one. Actually there's another one for you. MPS6 is a nice bit of kit. Modest looks, but go like the clappers. A bit touchy on the clutch (Two types of people in this world, those that have stalled an MPS6, and those that are going to) but really nice to drive. Tend to have been bought by people with families who don't want a bland family car. Stay away from an MPS3 second hand, as they've all had the nads thrashed off them. Buy an 8, you know you want to. :y:
  11. Or we could just all talk about ourselves in the third person: "Redwarf is feeling very silly and really should go to bed...."
  12. You've never done one of my Defensive courses then. Guarantee you would have learnt something on that. :hmm:
  13. Gday, Just to advise you that EOI's/offers are not permitted on these forums. Please state a price and the fact that it is for sale, or your thread may be subject to closure or deletion. Regards, Rollaclub Mods.
  14. Correct, it does. Door panels have to remain per CAMS PRC as well. They don't have to see what's under them though. The cage in the 35 is super strong, as when I hit things these days, it tends to be at pace. The cage in the 25 is a good club spec cage, and what you should look at to get started. Chris is right, your club should be able to point you in the right direction.
  15. Have a look at mine: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...1964&st=210 and my 25: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=366 Reading the CAMS ROPS regs is a must. 45mm cds and 38 mm cds are what is used, and are hard to bend. The main hoop needs to be as close to the pillars as you can get it and your standard of welding needs to be good. Welds as stated need to be full circumference. If you use exhaust tubing, I'll come and slap you personally myself. I've worked as a motorsport fabricator, but I still get someone to build mine.
  16. Chris and Tony are brothers... :)
  17. You might want to edit this out of your first post then.
  18. I promise to be gentle. What you need to do: 1: Spell properly and punctuate. That's a good start, and people will be more likely to answer you. This isn't MSN, and people like to be paid the respect of sensibly asked questions. 2: Go for a little stroll around the board. Using the search function located in the top Right hand corner is especially helpful This very topic has been covered more times than you could ever imagine. Therefore a little pro-active searching would have meant you wouldn't have to be recieving this post from me, and I'd have back the 10 minutes of my valuable life that I've spent posting this. 3: Another helpful hint is telling us what you already know. Again people are more likely to help if it's obvious that you know something (ie have done a search and found some information) but aren't quite sure. In short, we're not here to spoon feed you. R
  19. Join a car club.
  20. On a different tack, my Pajero went to a new home tonight. I hate to think what they're going to find. :)
  21. Please advise your fellow WA members which wreckers you intend on selling the remains of your car to when you run out of talent.
  22. Blue plate in Qld required. Non-P plate friendly conversion.
  23. 185/60 was what everybody used to run on their 10/20's. Getting hard to find these days.
  24. Looks a bit Sigma-ish...
  25. somebody ask Fook if his AE35 ever came close to my KE25. |blink|
