  1. Bolt up. Twin circuit. Some replumbing required. As will be required with most twin circuit masters.
  2. Open your bonnet, look at the firewall towards the top. The number you are looking for will be "AE71-123456" stamped into the car. That is the chassis number. The car is too early for a VIN.
  3. 323 RWD also bolt up.
  4. Being someone who works in an industry where we do use dry nitrogen in tyres, I consider using it in road tyres a crock.
  5. Very nice. We used to have a Renault-ski 10-ski, a Skoda 110L when I was growing up. The front and rear windows on that were identical. Seemed to have a touch more width than the real 10. I know a few people in the Renault club who would love this thing.
  6. The best idea would be to find an engineer now and ask them what they require. Too many times have I heard of people building a car and then coming unstuck at the engineering stage.
  7. Member Name - Redwarf Area - Brisbane Nthside Daily Drive - '10 Volkswagen Touareg Plus a couple of Corollas stashed in the garage.
  8. You're right, I'm not a fan of stereotyping either, and I know I have my Sth Oz's that I can continually rely on, but seriously, do they put something in the water down there?
  9. Ben, PM's are aligning to the right instead of left. IE7 and Coke please...
  10. I've used import monster a couple of times and can recommend them.
  11. 90 or over Jip, the above is taken from the QLD TORUM's. SA is basically the same.
  12. You got to remember I work occasionally as a advanced driving instructor for an ex-copper, and a couple of other instructors are traffic branch. It pays to know these things. The punters also expect you to know as well. I have ALL the current road rules downloaded on my lap top for easy access. ;)
  13. Point of order: Keep left on a multi lane road if the speed limit is over 80. ie: 90, 100, 110. Or is signed to keep left unless overtaking. Keeping left is defined as being not in the right most lane. Ref: National road rules, of which SA is a signitory. ;) Edit: Here it is!
  14. You can make a new one out of a bolt the correct diameter. You just need someone to tell you what length it is.
  15. Started reading. Too hard. Somebody seems to have stolen half the keys from your keyboard.
  16. Lumpy idle is not all that it's cracked up to be. I had a big cam (.435 lift) in my 3/4 K and I had idle set at about 1300 rpm and it sound about normal at that!
  17. Masturbating with a cheese grater is different too, but not at all practical. A lot like this. You'd be spending a lot of blood sweat and tears on a set-up that may or may not work at the end of the day, because if everything is not sitting.... just..... so, it's going to be a backwards step. Don't reinvent the wheel if it doesn't need reinventing IMHO. I wouldn't do it, and I have above average fabrication skills.
  18. Of course it will. Pics when your finished please.
  19. Dude, EVERYBODY does that! Mine are that bad now that I've actually broken one clean off because it's been bent back and forth so much!
  20. Actually I remember way back when lowering the back of an already low club car by undoing all the spring clamps, loading an anvil, one fat bloke and a not so fat bloke into the boot and doing them all back up again. worked really well for about three corners when everything went "SPOIIINNNNGGGG" back to where it should have been.
  21. KE20 the whole shaft needs to come out. This is a seriously unattractive job, and impossible if you can't get enough clearance from the ground. All of the column trim comes off, the ignition lock, indicators, two bolt under the dash (don't loose the tapered spacers), four bolts that hold the big bracket to the column, and a whole lot of wiggling. And I don't mean four blokes in scivvies.
  22. I love these guys:
  23. Never really had any issues (that said I never had an oil px guage...). There were a number of us doing it at the time, as a mate was a mechanic, and he used to get 6 for about $10. :jamie: They were cheap, they had a huge surface area, and they marginally increase oil capacity. Worked well.
  24. . Sorry, still needs to go in the For Sale area. :lolcry:
  25. I have a steel drift in my work toolbox thats about 18" long and about 1/2" diameter. It an axle from a roller on a cargo container loader for aircraft. It's single purpose in life (together with a copper Thor hammer) is to undo the QAD clamps that hold engine driven fuel pumps on CFM56-7 engines. Has never failed me yet. :lolcry:
