  1. des askes me a price i say my price trev says f@$k off thats too dear u roag i got one for twenty bucks raven says cut the crap or i will lock this thread now thats a disadvantage to me and not hurting trev sorry for using peoples names, none of you are like this but I'm just trying to say somthing That whole situation would be avoided if people abided by the rules. I'm also a strong believer that Rollaclub should implement a For Sale/Wanted Template to avoid situations like above.
  2. I'm 100% with Redwarf on this one. If people actually read the rules, it clearly states to make sure you check your spelling and don't type in leet. There is no reason why people cannot use proper grammar and correct spelling. We are not standing face to face, so there is no reason why you can't take a few minutes to edit your reply/question. I refuse to read and reply to threads that contain huge amounts of errors and/or typed in leet.
  3. Your technical insight is always welcome. The stipulation in the first post was more to warn off people clogging up the thread with useless guesses etc. Do you think there is any benefit in going for a longer duration cam. Maybe a 40/70 0.474"lift. Tighe cams recommends 40/70 for twin carbs/fast road. I'm just going by the info in the FAQ, and trying a few figures in DYNO2000. I know the software is not exactly accurate, but it tends to agree with the cam grinders figures for the rev range. Initially i was going to go for 43/72 83/31 0.442" purely for the sweet sounds it would make. :kiwi:
  4. I am about to convert my 5K back to solid lifters and am trying to make a decision on a practical cam. I have had huge spec cams in my K motors before and although they sound great, the figures tend to say that a smaller cam would be more beneficial in regards to max torque and hp. Am thinking a 25/65 regrind with 0.423" lift or maybe even 30/70 with 0.423" lift. The FAQ tends to back me up on this, however i am looking for some actual hard evidence. So this is a callout to "K" engine owners who have both their cam specs and dyno figures to post them here so i can see accurate power figures. (i'm not interested in your best guess or your word saying that your car flies). Preferably 5K owners, but for the sake of the thread it wont hurt for 3K and 4K owners to post up their evidence. A brief description of your engine mods would help too. My engine can be seen in my Signature.
  5. It was a gag mate. The pic is stolen from another site.
  6. XB GT Coupe. Off its tits 351 Cleveland, 4 Speed Toploader and 9" LSD. 265's on the rear and had no drama's spinning them in 3rd gear. It was almost undriveable in the wet.
  7. Apparently its a write off (not surprisingly). Eddie doesnt actually own the car. It belongs to producer Daniel Sadek who produced 'Redline', in which Eddie is a cast member. Never the less, he may still get slugged with the Insurance Excess.......assuming its Insured
  8. I read about that in the Herald Sun Newspaper, a week or two ago. I have seen a few Sold at Shannons Auctions for between $100,000 - $200,000. My jaw dropped when i saw that price tag however.
  9. andro0o - 5/10. The photo doesn't grab me. My pic is a sunrise taken from my front yard yesterday morning with my N73. Note the strange unexplainable object pictured centre of screen, on top of the fence. I only noticed the object when i zoomed in on my camera to see how good the quality was.
  10. Robinson Peter Automotive 17 Carinish Rd Oakleigh South 3167 (03) 9544 1162 They are dotted all over his workshop like mushrooms.
  11. CLICK and CLICK Alot of Pulsar owners use this brand. Just another option to look at i suppose.
  12. I got quoted $157 for the Yokohama S drives in 195/50 15. S Drives are claimed to be a better tyre than the C drives, when talking about performance. Pirelli Dragons were also recommended and quoted at $129. I currently have Yokohama AVS ES100 on my Corolla. 195/50 15 all round, and $160 per tyre. The best tyres i have ever owned. Super grippy in the dry, and amazingly grippy in the wet........on the rare occassion that it rains these days. I was actually getting quotes for these exact tyres to go onto my daily, but unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Fot those that are missing the A539's. Have you looked into their other tyres like these.Yokohama
  13. My local parts bloke always just orders one in for me. They are a catalogue item and readily available. From memory my last one was a 'Permaseal' brand.
  14. Awesome work and welcome. I bought a K50 from a bloke in Ringwood who had a v6 in his Corolla. However it was a 4 door KE30 or 55. He had only driven it a few times and it scared the crap out of him. Sounds like a fun toy though! P.S. 2 door KE30's are the best :P
  15. I've got dibs on the 13B if you don't want it. :P Welcome to the club. Sounds like you have done some research already. Have a search through the forum and i'm sure you will find all the answers to any questions you may still have.
  16. Fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
  17. I'm not looking to turn this thread into a slagging match. My entire point is that we know how things happens these days. We have Police and we have Parking Inspectors. We all play a role in life, and sometimes we don't always agree with certain professions or the way they conduct themselves. Having a rant on an internet forum will change nothing about that. Accept the fact that they are here to stay, and move on.
  18. You should be a Lawyer, because that was the biggest load of crap ever put forward in a discussion. We have laws for a reason, and people are expected to abide by them. Doesnt matter if its as simple as parking in a no parking zone or doing burnouts in an Industrial area. They are both illegal, both you and I know that. So the Police / Parking Officers are well within their rights to book you for it. I cannot stand whingers that constantly berate professions that they deem to be useless. Accept the facts and move on.
  19. Yeah, then we could live in a land of Rapists, Muderers and Paedophiles, with them free to roam the country as they please. Sounds like a great idea not having Cops to put them behind bars doesn't it? But that doesnt matter, because cops don't do that kind of work anyway. All they do is drive around and defect poor innocent people like yourself.
  20. COLD Inlet 0.003 Exhaust 0.007 HOT Inlet 0.008 Exhaust 0.012 I chewed up 2 cams and 2 complete sets of lifters in my 5K before we got it sorted. Hopefully you just have a case of too much clearance in the lifter adjustment. Check that the pedestal is bolted down tight too.
  21. Just put a long resonator on it. The longer the resonator, generally the deeper the exhaust note. Exhausts without resonators 'generally' sound a bit tinny. 18" or 450mm resonators are a nice choice in my opinion.
  22. Just enough room to move the mouse.
  23. This might be a silly question, but here goes. Are the drifting and burnout comps real life, real smoke events? Or are they computer simulated like the drag racing? I would hope the events would be real. As i have never been to the complex, i'm not too sure on the size and layout. I've only seen a promo movie clip of the drag racing.
  24. What he said.^

    BWAHAHA

    Joking Donkey.
