Toyota claimed that the silvertop was 125kw? i didn't think you would lose 40kw through the driveline?

I had all rubber and with the strut out i could move the LCA quite easily. now i have all eurathane bushes through the front and it is Very tight now! makes me excited to get my car back o the road just to see how much better its going to handle. should be heaps better!

Yeah i've heard pinstriping but i've never really seen a good example of it! hmmm maybe i should keep a solid colour just let my wheels set off the rest!

Only thing is that i love the colour. it lights up sooo well in the sun and draws attention. maybe i can get those factory sticky strips? i pulled mine off but i reckon it'll be better with em.

whatall that glass cost ya? this car is awesome! mine will be gettin new paint soon and i reackon i'm gonna do it similar to you. .. take out glass etc.. weld in different guards to flare it. love your work!

Well the yellow is e representation of gold. if i do those stripes they will be gold or black.

Ok since the green beast is getting a respray to help engineering and to fix all my recurring rust problems. I'm trying to decied on a way to break up the green. Now i want some striping but i can't decide what? here are my dodgy 'paint' jobs. these two? or this? i'm leaning toward the off centre stripes but it might look a bit wanky on a corolla.

I'm thinki putting a single external vl bosck pump rigged up to the drain plug of my fuel tank. just trying to keep the cost down because external lift pumps are quite expensive! how easy is it to put an intank pump into a fuek tank that isn't made for it? good or bad? this is to power my silvertop.

How old before foam starts breking up though. i had mine for about 7 months before the 4k gave up and the filter is still fresh as.

I've also put a KE70 console in my 55 but to make it fit better i got out the die grinder and made the back of it curve the same as the car tunnel. crazy angry easiest thing to do is ignore these things....

first strut is in powder coated cross member bolted back up! i wanna finish the other strut this wkend and try to put all steering gear back in! we'll se how we go probably wont cos i gotta get my LCA pressed with new bushes

Yeah not much been happenin with the rolla still finishing off the struts. just had the crossmember sandblasted and powder coated gloss black! puuting most steering gear back in the car this wkend. i just don't get the time! i've also started painting the underside if the car in black! to give it a new look!

ok hmmm i'm trying to reduce the money and keep it neater. all of the surge tank setups i've seen are very messy looking. i like the gravity feed idea i always have my car on quarter of a tank or more! how much did you pay for your ift pump?

Did you use a surge tank setup? if not why? i'm planning to run one single external bosh big pump to run my 20v.

Well i shouldn't have too much problems then! i have got all new bushings am buying new lines.. i have completely rebuilt my cressida struts.. the t series diff i'm buying is completely rebuilt! basically everything is getting done properly! except the drawings!! i'm getting other people to do the welding. a proper performance shop! so maybe i shouldn't stress sooo much! all money and time!

I found that first link and read it through! didn't really give me what i was after! see i have some chassis rust and i'm worried that unless i get it welded up then they won't register it! i'm doing everything else properly though! upgrading brakes and profeesional mounts etc!

Hey all! i did a search on engineering but it didn't give me anything that i'm really after! does anyoone know exactly what engineers look at when you've done an engine conversions? all i know is that everything has been made properly and that brakes are upgraded to suit! anything else? also anyone in adelaide had engineering? how much is the question! i want my car to be legal! any info would be much appreciated.... or even a link with the correct info!

update.. with photos.! fully rebuilt strut just waiting on brake calipers to be rebuilt but this is them sooo far. gabriel ultra v shocker lowered king spring and the mx62 strut! my blinged up reset leaf spring and extra leaf added! and my trd copy extractor for the 20v

i like the new skin too... but i'm not a real fan of the new layout.... as in how you can actually read a thread. i think it was better how it was. but thats my personal opinion others might not feel the same way.

i work at a painting factory and the ford xr5 electric orange is apparently quite hard to get because it is an import colour. the paint companies in australia don't make it as an oem colour. the code for it if you interested is 2015-1 you'll need this if your going to get some made up! i'll be getting a quote on price on monday.. will let you know what trade price is if you like?
