  1. Second that! How'd you end up going with the retrimmed seats? From the impression I got, they're going to look hawt!
  2. Yeah, mate, I used to own a CFI EA.. and after playing with it alot, experimenting and whatnot, I still wasn't impressed.. after driving a MPFi version I was much more impressed. That said, a mate has a CFI 5-speed EA and it is a bloody freak of a car, nice and quick and shit.. goes pretty hard Ford went back to the dizzy in the EL purely because it was more economical. It would have costed alot of money to re-tool to make the coil-packs more reliable, and made sense to simply go back to a dizzy. Quite stupid that they went straight back to the coilpacks in the AU, though. Happy new years.. Dan
  3. Hooray.. *sarcasm*.. :y: New years resolutions - get another e-series falc - finish my f@$king speedway car by the end of the first month - give up working at hj's Haha
  4. I swear I made a reply in this 'back in the day' Yeah I was just giving Jono a bit of shit, I enjoy it :y: no hard feelings..
  5. Ahh, I see that you'll be running 6.5'' kevlar response splits... even though I've never heard a pair of them, if they're what they're cracked up to be they are pretty good... I hope so, because I'm putting an order down for some.. What speakers are you gunna run for rear fill, I presume some more Jaycar speakers? Type S.. mm... got one of them, they're alright ay Are you planning to amplify the splits or just run them off the HU?
  6. Looks good. I'm with Trev on that one, would be a good beach buggy, might give that a shot... MY (what it appears to be based on) Wagons are worth sweet fa over here, and I'd rather not cut up my l-series :y:
  7. How much does he want for the '66 Fury? I really, really like it haha... might as well say goodbye to getting the subi... haha
  8. Number plate says infers he is from New South Wales... most likely Sydney/Newcastle
  9. What do you drive and what have you done in terms of modifications?
  10. You get mongrel dogs like that, the quiet timid dogs are the ones to watch out for, they are the ones that will turn around and attack without any indication. My german shepards liek that, just can't bring myself to get it shot - but it should be.. On the other hand I have a ridgeback and hes about the best dog I could ask for, scares the shit out of everyone and is an absolute companion to me, big scary sook is all he is.. Ban Little Dogs.
  11. /\ Ouch Sorry to hear he got bitten...
  12. I shall be getting back to you shortly, you don't mind if I give your email adress to a friend who is after some?
  13. I'd snap up the XE if it were in WA Don't bother with this conversion mate. If your budgets tight and your looking for a cheap burnout car just grab a 302 powered falc or something, hell even a 289 would do, just lock the diff and have some fun... That'd actually be a better conversion for you to attempt, 302 into XE :y:
  14. Funeral director? You ACT fella's never fail to surprise me... Do you have *any* style of circular LED lights? I'm actually after some smaller ones, probably around 2-4inches in width, I have a custom taillight idea in mind for the ol' Falc
  15. It'd be alright for burnouts :y: but no good around corners.. The Corolla weighs around half of the weight of the XE. Would go alright around in circles... think and research before you turn any bolts mate. And some photos of the two cars may be good, haha. Dan
  16. Do you do any type of circular LED lights, similar to a R32 skyline?
  17. Can't help you on the conversion... but it sounds like it'll be a overrated conversion that I'd love to see sometime :y: Welcome to Rollaclub mate, especially welcome to the WA section :no2: where as you've probably seen, we're as quiet as hell on a cold day... Dan
  18. You probably could, but its a speedway car, so its only supposed to be driven on the track, anyway, if you could hear it over the exhaust then the cars either off or upside down :y: The bolts did have nuts on the other side, and washers on either side of the floorpan... just read my last post and thought shit, people probably think I'm some kind of maniac
  19. The ones in the speedway car have been bolted straight to the floorpan.. on both the KE20 ex-racer I had and the KE55 coupe
  20. It all depends on what you plan to use your car for mate. The last thing you want is a tailshaft to let go at 100kays an hour. I know of a fair few cars that have been written off because of it, a mates falcon let one go last week and its messed up the underside of his car very bad. Lucky it didn't do any more damage than it did. Its also very dangerous when they let go, you can lose control of your car very easily when they hit the ground.. For the limited amount of time that it takes to put one (or two) in, it is definately worth it. It doesn't cost much to do either.. just some chain and a couple of good, high tensile bolts and she'll be right :y:
  21. Nah thats a f@$king stupid idea, I could hire people to kill you for this shit, why the f@$k do dickheads like you f@$k up this shit for all of us fair dinkum high posting cappo's... its almost enough for me to spit out my cappucino all over my laptop in my Beemer.. I only just got it cleaned the other day, you know, it cost me a pretty penny, I almost had to sell my Toorak mansion because of this... I shall get my team of lawyers onto you.. And if we forget that rambling shit that I just managed to write... Great idea, it should clean up everything alot! Dan
  22. I usually believe that if its is an ebay item that is not a sellers, then it should be posted in off-topic, because then it cannot be counted as 'postwhoring' and you are still doing the so-called 'good deed' by letting Rollaclub members know of a potential good deal, or hard to find parts. It is a constant waste of time opening up a thread in the For Sale area and seeing it is just a link to the ebay auction, with little to none information about the item. Especially when its not an item that the user is selling.. This could all be settled by posting the 'Ebay:' prefix. We have to do it for EOIs, whats different about an eBay auction... A suggestion that I could make regarding the issue is to use the 'Ebay:' prefix and demand a short description of the item that they are selling, along with there location as per other threads. And the item must be from a member, not someone else, like Raven suggested. Dan
  23. That was your ex-boyfriend trying to get into your good books again mate
