orangeLJ Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 yup, when I was growing up, the more bend in your cap, the cooler! I remember using elastic bands, coffee cups and a heap of shit to get the bend perfect. Quote
Jono.C Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 Hipster tax Edit, here's what it looks like in the db after HTML encoding: Which hits the 70 character limit. I'd ideally like a ' lla) ' on the end of that but i'm cool with Coro i guess Quote
irokin Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 Remove ' off the front and you'll have 5 spare characters. Quote

kickn5k Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) speaking of hipsters, whats the go with these tiny small skateboards i see people with? called a "penny skateboard". here it is http://www.pennyskateboards.com/home.html#!prettyPhoto katrina apparently bought one last night at a fundraising auction, not really knowing what it was other than a "cute little skateboard". seems like a daft idea to me. a normal sized skateboard is hard enough to ride. but it wont stop me from trying to ride it in the hallway tonight, which will most likey end with me on the floor in pain, and the skateboard half stuck in the plaster wall. They were "normal" sized boards in the 70's and early 80's. Edited August 3, 2012 by kickn5k Quote

7shades Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) F*ck. People WANT those things now? Man... I had a few, passed down from my uncles. Original 80's for rizzle. Long gone now. Probably could have sold them off to hipster f*cktards for heaps. Ninja Edit: The dude in the video making those Penny boards has a flatcap. A backwards flatcap. Dipshit. I had one of them until I saved all my b'day money over a couple of years and bought a Leigh Ralph pro model. Spewing I sold all that stuff, perfect condition and unmounted decks of that era sell for over $1k!!! Come to think about it WGMG! Selling my Leigh Ralph pro mod skateboard and my Mongoose Californian for about $50 each when I was young!!! Quote

These days their just for people who can't ollie and etc on real boards. So they just say "mine can go really fast down hills" but they never do cause they are too busy iron their brims flat. Jono.C Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 People that refer to cars as "shells" ʞ©$ɟ sake, it's a car, when you say that it just sounds disposable!! Which in drifting or motorsport I guess fair enough, but when you're talking about old rareish cars like comaro's, trans ams, Plymouths etc it pisses me off. It's that kind of attitude that's made them so rare in the first place. Like cockheads who look at a guard with a little bit of rust or a a dent and go oh its ʞ©$ɟed, better trash this and get a new one. ʞ©$ɟ, why do you think there's no spares? Get off your arse, pick up a hammer and atleast attempt to fix it, it's not that hard!!!! Same goes for cars, oh it has some rust so I'll crush it and get a new one, dickhead! It's 30 years old what do you expect!! Either have a go ay repairing it or sell it to someone who will actually fix it!!! This throw it out or replace instead of repair attitude pisses me the ʞ©$ɟ off. Yes it may be more financially viable to replace sometimes but Jesus. The amount of decent cars that just people I know have sent to the scrap, old corollas, early chevs and even a model a rolling body.. Jesus. Anyway rant over and excuse the French, but God people shit me. 1 1 Quote
