katrina apparently bought one last night at a fundraising auction, not really knowing what it was other than a "cute little skateboard".

 

seems like a daft idea to me. a normal sized skateboard is hard enough to ride. but it wont stop me from trying to ride it in the hallway tonight, which will most likey end with me on the floor in pain, and the skateboard half stuck in the plaster wall.

 

They were "normal" sized boards in the 70's and early 80's.

I had one of them until I saved all my b'day money over a couple of years and bought a Leigh Ralph pro model.

Spewing I sold all that stuff, perfect condition and unmounted decks of that era sell for over $1k!!! Come to think about it WGMG! Selling my Leigh Ralph pro mod skateboard and my Mongoose Californian for about $50 each when I was young!!!

These days their just for people who can't ollie and etc on real boards. So they just say "mine can go really fast down hills" but they never do cause they are too busy iron their brims flat.

People that refer to cars as "shells" ʞ©$ɟ sake, it's a car, when you say that it just sounds disposable!! Which in drifting or motorsport I guess fair enough, but when you're talking about old rareish cars like comaro's, trans ams, Plymouths etc it pisses me off. It's that kind of attitude that's made them so rare in the first place.
