Well I thought I'd post up here my project car I just picked up. I'm keeping the KE70 panelvan as a daily driver while doing up the Sprinter.

This is my AE71 this is the car the day i got it, already 4AGED i got 8 defects in my first 48 hours of driving it and decided to change some shit. one of the main defects was rust. so i ground it back and this is the shit i found. by the time i cut it out this is all the roof i had left in some places... dad and i cut and fabricated some metal and i had a go at my first real bit of welding with a mig welder. getting the settings right for such thin metal was a pain, but once it was dialed right it was basically point and shoot :) once the rust and stuff had been cut out it was time to be get the spray putty on and primer. t…

Just got my project AE71 on Sunday, I bought it off another member here Kebin. Its a manual, and being an AE71 it has all the gear to drop a 4AGE engine into it. :P That is the overall plan. Hi all, Thought it was about time I started a build thread for my AE71 CSX. I'll give you a bit of a run down on what I know about it and since found out about it body wise and what my plans are and have been for about 5 years since I bought it! Before I bought it I always wanted an AE86 and pestered my friends brother to sell me his, to no avail, so I did some more research on older RWD corollas and found out that lots of AE86 parts are interchangeable into the AE71's. Recently i bought an ae71 panel van with a 4ac 1.6 motor. the car has only done 69000 and was owned by a granny since new. The car came with new tyres half a tank of fuel and was in roadworthy cond. i paid 100 bucks for it!! :'( since, ive ripped out the 4 speed n put in a t-50, carpeted the back, new speco air filter as shown in pic, put a set of 16s on her and put in a stez. Well i have had this AE71 Since january 2006 and not alot has happened with it. It was bought for me to use in motorkhana's and khanacross's. Bought it with a rooted diff and a complete auto ae71 with it for the use of its diff. So in the time i have had them i have...Changed diffs over, stripped the parts car for useful pieces and sent it off to rolla heaven, Stripped un needed interior bits out of it to make it uber lightweight, sound deadener removed. I have also made a sidepipe out of the spare stock exhaust pipe. Sounds beefy but has a nasty back off sound above 4,500RPM. Wants some back pressure. Haven't post here in a while, but here goes.. Hi guys and girls, just wanna show my latest purchase. 1984 AE71 Wagon, with stock 4ac+5 speed manual. Stock interior except for the CD player on the dash. Stock suspension. Stock everything really :P. I'll let the pics do the talking. Future plans are to replace the cd player with stock am/fm radio on the dash, put a decent audio system, lower it a bit, some sort of old-skool mags, and maybe 4ag conversion later on. Enjoy!

Well this is my wagon, finally got it home today after it sitting at a mates since i got it 2 months ago. Plan to get it ready for rego in the next couple of weeks. Its just a stock 4ac with a 4 speed manual.

some time last year i bought an 1986 ae82 4 $650 :hmm: wen i got it the paint was old and sus so i got it resprayed (white) looks nice now, will be better 1ce i paint that blue bit black tho haha unfortunatly its a 4ac not 4age but oh well still goes good... specially with the new exaust :hmm: anyway here are some pics of the beast new exaust old exaust :D hope 2 get some new rims soon and the ones thats are in the pic are now painted black with polished lip :) oh and the lil spoiler is painted black now and i have a nice big kenwood sticker on the back window :D

Hi this is my AE82. stock in the engine at the moment, do have a turbo kit for it. I have 17" wheels on it. super low kings in the front and stock in the rear all with new struts the inside is fully decked out with a sound system. it is at a 144.8Db and still going.

Well a wise man once said "I will never own another AE82 again" Yet here I am. Picked it up on Friday night. Pretty sweet deal I guess. It's a very original CSX with all the goodies. Has a very nice interior with the velour headlining, rear headrests, tacho dash and elongated console arrangement. Previous owner added a JVC MP3 headunit and Pioneer front speakers which is mega bonus. The car was originally optioned up with the aircon and power steering so it's an absolute pleasure to drive with the steering. Paintowrk is faded as so I'll need to give it a bit of a cut/polish/wax. Three out of four window regs are rooted so I'll be off to the wreckers in the morning…

hey peeps as the title states i own a Ae82 Corollla i have spent about 3.5k on it Lowered Sports Suspension (Super low's in the front) but my guards scrape should i pay $550+ to get the guards rolld Full Sports Exaust (Twin Tip) or should i go a Cannon Complete 4.1 Stereo system (6.9" x 4" sub and amp) Full Sports Service (plat plugs + Leads) but i am curious on what i am able to do to my Engine without replacing it.... it is a 1.6 Carbi, and i want more power. what should i do? ill put pictures on my profile after this post

i brought the car in 2007 for 4 grand, spent approximately 10 grand on modifying it. It had a 1.6 litre engine in it but i pulled that out and put a 2 litre in it. Spent 2500 of the 10 grand on the sound system and getting the sound proffesionally tuned. cheers Josh

Hi guys, thought id finally put up a thread on my twinky. When i bought her the amount of rust in it was unbelievable, and it was pretty beaten up and abused. It really should never have been on the road, but i managed to get a roady done from a mate. It was a daily for about 6 months, then the rear crank seal gave way. I'm close to getting the engine cleaned honed and re assembled, but its never going back on the road. Ive completely stripped the interior, cut the roof off etc, pictures will tell the story. It will live out its days as a go kart pretty much. Ive got about half the cage welded up, just need to get some bends done. Pics will be up soon.

It's just a standard ADM AE86, bought it off ebay for $1500. It needed the left quarter panel welded back on and other bits and pieces to make it drivable. My dads mate went and picked it up for us cause he had a month of work and wanted something to do (win for us) Ended up getting it November last year and it was on the road late January this year. We had some trouble with the gearbox/engine but finally got it fixed. The 4-AC we had in it went through oil faster then petrol and blew a lot of smoke. Now it has got some black 14x6 Superlites on it and we got a replacement 4-AC and rebuilt the engine and replaced the head with a stronger one. It runs perfect now, h…
