i just put ke30 struts with ra40 strut tops, lower control arms, tie rods and steering arms into my Datsun 1200 ute, so i guess you could interchange parts.

well then id say it was due to cam overlap. Because johnny said he has a big cam.....In his engine. Mine have been standard cam too so 10psi.

should be in big letters on the left side of the block, just in front to the engine mount L18 or L20B ive had about 20 of these and they all had it, but there could always be one that donest

ive talked to rolla boy about this before, you should be getting more than 4 psi, on both the 4k ive supercharged with a SC12 i was getting 10-12 psi the the throttlebody after the blower and i get 9-10psi the the throttle body before the blower, the last setup is on a 4k with 40 thou over flat top pistons and not decompressed, only diffrence is they are both EFI and i know thats not the reason, the only other thing is maybe you guys are using bigger cams with too much overlap.

HP or KW is only part of the power rating Torque needs to be taken into account too. A 4K Should make more torque than a 3K as it has a larger displacment. so even if say the 3K and 4K had the same power output the 4K will go a little harder and have more pull as the toruqe is greater.

Thats why i asked about rating your own thread, can't it be made so the author of the thread cannot rate them self. Yes i did my projects thread because i wanted to know if you could rate your own thread. My mistake, i was expecting it to say that i couldnt rate my own thread. OOPS :D

I see that you can rate your own thread. Eg you can give it 5 stars, If someone else rates it lower will the rating come down?

its no running yet, I'm waiting on a bellhousing, But I'm holding off at the moment as we have a car swap meet coming up and there is always mostly holden and ford shit there. so maybe i might pick up a v6 manual gearbox or something.right now it got a 4k back in it and ill tidy it up and try to rego it. I will be using this car for burnout comps and drags, when they run the drag meetings here at the end they run burnout comps

the early vn engines have 6 bolt flywheel/flexplate. the later model have a 8 bolt. but thats why i was happy wiht mine as it was manual from the factory

another 6 to 7 weeks i think, lost count.

if its the mechanical pump, it will take a few cranks to start getting the fuel up,, just try putting a little fuel down the carb and starting it, the engine will run for a few seconds and that should almost be enough to get the fuel up to the carb

Engine is in the engine bay, its tight with the steeringbox but ill start making rough mounts.

you are right, yes i will have problems with it fuel surge. Ill have to make sure i have plenty of fuel in the car, Main use for this car is the burnout comps so lots of fuel going to one side to the other in the tank, I think that maybe ill make this pump the surge tank lifter and use another pump in the boot. Bit tight on the budget so i just want to get it up and running first.

great its been found with little damage.

engine will be in tomorrow, but still waiting for bellhousing, ill be getting some idea of how its all going to fit and maybe start on the engine mounts, ill also do the wiring. I have already fitted the Intank EFI fuel pump from the VN in to a spare fuel tank i had ready and will fit that tomorrow too. ill get better pics of everything tomorrow in the day time of everything so far.

As ive got these 17" Chrome wheels doing nothing in my shed with almost new tires etc, I may as well use them for something, Did have them on my ute for awhile but 17" are just too big for a little 1200 ute. I might keep them on the rolla, but i did really want the standard steel rims and white walls.

HEKTIC : is the rolla in your sig yours? if so i was the one the rang you and it was going to be that car the v6 went into if you had sold it. I going to order the bell housing tomorrow. Not cheap at $400
