That is just the coolest thing!!! I was thinking you need to have a way comfy chair for the hours you're going to spend in front of that thing! I .......... LOVE!!!!! GALAGA :ninja: I was addicted to it. Then I got it on the PC and I drove the kids crazy with it. I am a terrible mother...my youngest had a school social and I thought I'd get her some dinner before she went in. So we stopped at the Fish and Chip shop up the road from the school. What should be in the corner but GALAGA! In goes 20 cents (ya-huh! 20 cents!) and I started playing. Youngest got her dinner, ate it, read a magazine then said "um Lesley, my social started 1/2 an hour ago, can we go now?" - I was still on my first man, had wiped off the top score ... I felt so guilty. It was SO hard walking away from it..... Lesley :hmm:

Hey, MR2 AW11's had the 4AGZE's, and there's tons of info available on the net to do with MR2's most of the people whoo have them are as passionate about them as us rolla owners :ninja: I'd think a quick search might produce some info (but I just can't be bothered doing it!) Lesley :hmm:

just wanted to share..... as in the header, I got bored today and looking at my car feeling a bit disappointed about my shopping day yesterday yielding nothing but a set of number plate covers (which are pretty cool).. yesterday when I was washing the car I was looking at the exhaust thinking it's a pity it's not shiny... then last night cruising I was looking at other peoples exhausts .... woke up this morning with a burning question: "will autosol make my exhaust shiny?" found said autosol, and answered my question, IT DOES! I must admit I must have looked stupid sitting in the middle of my driveway polishing the exhaust of my car, but who cares! So I got a bit excited and opened up the bonnet and polished the strut brace too. Then went cruising (with my shiny exhaust). Lesley :P

Holy crap batman. Today I had my first day off in what seems like forever so I went shopping for shiny bits for my car. I went to a couple of places to check things out and I started by qualifying my ride, ie: "Hi, I own a factory turbo and intercooled Corolla Sportivo" and I'm after ..... TWO of the places I went into, (Car Toys and Motoquip in Mile End) the guys said to me "are you sure?" me: "yes" them: are you sure it wasn't done aftermarket? me: *rolls eyes* YES!!!! what IS IT with people???? It's not available :S I checked on the website I already knew about the cost, our MR2 is REAPER :P I got that for hubby... it was quite funny asking for it, I had to repeat it a couple of times, then write it down, I don't think the guy could believe I was asking for it. He told me it was taken, It was on a Dodge Hurse!! and I asked when it expired, it had expired about 6 months previously so I snapped it up!!! We've had those plates for about 3 years.. Oh, it IS Reaper as in Grim Reaper, but the Terry Pratchett (of DiscWorld Fame) Reaper, nothing sinister as such. My old car was BINKY (Reaper's Horse) but I can't find anything to suit the rolla....I tried VIXEN - cause a fox is red/gold but that was taken too I'll have to keep thinking...... Lesley :(

THEN I asked them about my calipers WHOO HOO!!! and everything else and I got Cory outside looking under the bonet conversation: me: I want that *points to the piping* - shiny! corey: cool, you should get this and this done too (rocker cover and exhaust sheild) me: yeah!!! and then I'm going to get this and this (air filter box and washed fluid box) carbon fibred! corey: nah, get it in stainless me: no!!! carbon fibre!! corey: nah!! stainless, drift spec it! me: drift spec?! It's front wheel drive!!!! corey: so .... me: good point! I guess you just had to be there, but it was really, REALLY comical!!! from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out it was FUN! It's so refreshing dealing with guys in the automotive industry who don't treat you like an idiot just because you're a woman.... ok, I'm totally cheating on the painting the calipers....when I get my mags I asked the guy there if he'd do it for me and he said YES - for $50 bucks!!!!! So I think I'm getting a bargain! I've sourced the stainless steel polished piping and I'm also getting the rocker cover polished and the exhaust heat shield. I'm getting some carbon fibre work done and braided hoses. Then I'm going to get fitted seat covers and then I'm done - I'm expecting to get the bulk of it done in the next 2 months and then I'll get rest of it done next year. THEN we start on the MR2 :P Lesley

oh golly, I just HAVE to stop going to the mag shop. They talked me out of the lensos and they showed me a BRAND new release by GMAX....they're called "energy" so I'm sticking to those and not going to the mag shop again!!! I'm going to phone them and order them, then drop my car off and I'll not change my mind again!!!!! (sorry if i'm driving you mad with my indecision - my husbands already around the bend!!!). OK, you need to dumb it down for me even more (I kinda figured I needed special paint), but do I need to take them off, and if so, how do I do it? This is what I've figured out.... jack the car up take off wheel .....then what.... clean and prepare the surface paint put back on (but HOW?) Also, I know shorter piping .... and all that but I have to keep it standard for about another 9 months from memory so by replacing it with the same I'm not voiding my warranty....(and we know how much i LOVE my warranty!!). I was more concerned that if the chromed piping is of a different weight or is more conductive the heat will transfer and warm up the air = bad Thank you :P Lesley :(

Ok, I'm planning on some work to broomdie, and I want to paint the calipers... Q: how difficult would it be (for someone like me who doesn't know what they're doing) to paint them? If I can't do it, who COULD do it?? secondly I want to get the air intake housing that goes all around the inside of the engine bay chromed and the joints in that coloured neoprene stuff (or what ever it is - can some one tell me?) Q: would the difference between the existing piping and the chrome piping make a difference temperature wise and if not who would I go to get something like that done??? Thank you Lesley :P

WHOO HOO!!!! Got my car back..... but they didn't paint a bit on the hatch and now the paint doesn't match up AND when I washed my car on Sunday (I put the car in on Monday and got it back today) it was smooth and now I have what looks like hail dents on the roof and the bonnett :P don't know what I'm going to do..... :(

OMG!!!!!!! I was driving along today and I saw a car with some rockin mags....I pursued it through traffic then pulled along side and honked - then realised it was an 06 Corolla!!! *doh* ANYHOO I asked him where he got his mags and who made them... he daid "they're Lenso's" So I did a search and found some I liked even BETTER!!! LOL so, drum roll........ I've not heard of LENSO's before are they reputable? Lesley :P
