Got the cut and welded struts too, havent looked back. Got the perch welded where i wanted it so it can still go an inch lower - not happening haha, or wind it up so its legal

Alright I bought the t3 ones, $100 less then pretty much everything else out there, the spring rate choice is yours, however they didnt have the length choice anymore. I got..... hmm can't remember the pound of spring but it works out to be 7.2kg's. Perfect for daily drive around here in tassie, doesnt lift at all through corners but its still good to slow up for speed bumps haha. I was kind of worried when i saw the lower adjustable perch was aluminium, but feck, i've hit potholes etc and it hasn't budged!! And i don't expect it to. Got adjustable kyb agx shocks as well, perfect adjustability for it, i have it set on 2 out of 4 levels of firmness

Maybe half the ke70s getting about are all the same and people aren't thinking outside the box, but thats because its a fun box. People are doing 4age and sr20 conversions not to be kings of the automotive world, but to have a fun car. Purposely making it look like a pig however...... gay. Its not hard to keep it tidy at least

So my 4a-c is running a little lean now with an open air filter and straight through exhaust, has anyone on here tuned the standard carby?? Is it possible?? I know theres the idle mix adjustment, but any way of making it a bit richer in the revs? I don't mind stripping it down/ experimenting i have a spare carby here if i stuff it up haha. No Webers or equivalent fancy carby talk around here please, got a set of kawasaki zx-9 carbs going on my 3T, the 4a just has to last until then without me spending money on it, so budget mods are sweeet. Any help appreciated, information on drilling out the jets etc. cheers

^ Yeah ʞ©$ɟ oath, most of that shit on 'stance nation' pisses me right off it looks shit and is ridiculous. Mostly the camber stuff. They're saying its got 400hp+ but some dick has dialled in about a 45 degree angle of camber and the rims are touching the guards front and back without it being airbagged so its no longer functional. I mean they can do what they want with their cars, but really? that much money on something you can't drive? Might as well run square wheels; just to be different

You worked out what was causing that brake problem? Mine did the same sort of thing a while back, but it was the master cylinder being full of 30 year old grit and one of the pistons in it would jam forwards leaving the brakes on :/ had to pull it out and recondition it. Car is looking very nice too, soo jealous of some of those parts you have coming in!! You going to keep that zebra pattern continued up the side of the car?

Is this on the steering column shaft thing where it connects to the rack? Did your t18 already have the steering rack when you got it?

WMMH: My latest weekend ghetto mod; Replace shit muffler with sick large section of straight pipe. Love the raspy sound as the revs drop, but still gives off a nice note :jamie: proper exhaust can wait until i have my new motor in/ have available moneys

Not positive this is right, but if the motor was in gear so the tailshaft wouldnt spin, and the other wheel was in the air as well, if it was an open centre it would have had to have been spinning the opposite direction??? Sounds like maybe a stuffed l.s.d. Alos, your 'open' t series doesnt look very open now haha.

Ae71 brakes are the same as ke70's. So i don't reckon. Also, t18 rear springs = ke70/ ae71 rears. Fronts are much different. t18 radiator fits ke70 if the top thermostat housing is turned to face the other side - unbolt, turn, bolt up. Slightly larger/ wider. t18 lower section of rear seat/ base, fits ke70/ ae71 for a lower and much comfier ride - do it :)

Took me a while to figure that one out haha, actually thought it was centrifugally engaging for a bit, like rev the engine up, and the weights engage it. Then i figured, how do you change gears, thats pretty useless.... but i now that i have worked it out, seems even more useless. Sure 4K isnt just the part number for a 1jz clutch or something more substantial haha??
