Your enthausiasum to work on your car is good to see,.......but for f@$ks sake Myles if you can't work out how to remove a set of brake pads then get somebody who knows what they're doing (like a mechanic) to do it for you befor you kill yourself, and possibly somebody else on the road. :P
For what its worth you actually have the sumitomo calipers that can have the pads changed without the caliper removed.
And buy that bloody haynes manual. ;)
The wrap-arounds have a little bracket at the ends that attach to the side of the guard. Don't think cars that came with the shorter ones even have a hole for them either so you'll have to drill some.
I run 28o max timing while on boost. We put 32o in it on the dyno, didn't knock just made less power! ;) - That was on 10psi BTW.
What are you running in the way of ignition actually? Just a locked or re-graph dizzy?
Keen to see the dyno chart! :D
Yeah Jerry wrote most of the songs,.... well the better ones IMHO anyway. Lane wrote some of the songs like "Angry Chair".....and you can tell  . Awesome singer but!!! ;) Suppose it's really suprising he lasted as long as he did!!! Should have died in his prime like Curt.
....speaking of which, Its a bloody wonder Scott Weiland is still alive to! ;)
Can't wait for any new material! :D and for the kiddies who have never really heard AIC....

He was just trying to clear up something that you said you didn't undertsand!! Plus they are trying to give you added advice on what you've asked. Getting a guage itself to work properly is one thing, but if the sender isn't setup up correctly (ie have sufficient water around it) then the guage is never going to work properly!
Pins only locate the pads in the caliper. Though if its that bad, might not hurt to remove them (and the pads) just incase they're all groved and binding up.
Sorry for the offtopic'ness, but speaking of Giraffes did anybody see that one give birth last night on TV!?
Poor little guy came into the world as he dropped at least 2 metre from "mum" and landed in a bloody heap.
Ok, John is charging me $21.125 each INCLUDING postage.
They will be available for $20 each (I'll just wear the postage cost), pickup from my place, or from downstairs if pre-aranged.
Will let you all know when I have them.
