  1. sorry mate, turns out he's not confident with the gun as he is a panel beater. he only sprays his own cars. good luck with finding someone.
  2. It would have been this one... Shame about not finding the owner dfunkt :POSTPICS!:
  3. I said that the first time i saw it when i was 8 years old. So i'm first in line mate! Looks like a great day, i'll definately be on the next one!
  4. Me too! And if they look a little worse for wear i get a little upset! I want to buy them all. Oh and hi brett, don't worry it only took me about a year to introduce myself in the vic section. Matt.
  5. where abouts in melbourne are you? I will ask my dad's mate.
  6. Great to hear your still chugging along teddy. The anticipation is building! Can't wait to see some piccies. Matt.
  7. I might be up for this. I get my licence a couple days before it!
  8. Any piccies? Sounds like a let down.
  9. Haha! I saw a ke70/ae71 panel van on pascoe vale rd in moonee ponds yesterday. It was pretty immaculate and an old bloke was driving it (pretty hard too!)
  10. And if anyone finds one suitable for a ke30 let us know!!!
  11. It would most likely not cost too much more to buy one from an engine joint with warranty and all (about 300). as for rebuild best start ringing around and find the best option. Matt.
  12. Awesome dude! And welcome to the VIC section. All i can say is PICS!!!!! Cheers. Matt.
  13. Aggreed. With that money you will be able to buy a better overall car.
  14. Highly unlikely as it is pretty much straight through. You would definately need at least another(maybe more) muffler. But if it isn't too loud you should be fine. Great to see and hear of progress, should be a little beast when done. Matt.
  15. That has come up so good! You make everything on the car look like it should've been part of the car from when it was made. :hmm: :y:
  16. Sorry mate i don't know as they were a present from my old man. As for the place all i know at the moment is that they are Hurricane brand ones. I will try to find out where you can get them from. Matt.
  17. wow! i've never heard that one before, wouldn't all the dirt and dust stick to the paint?
  18. That is SICK! Leave her totally stock and do all the necessary things to make her perfect. I really like that interior, sexy as can be! I'd say it'd be worth around $3-4 grand maybe more if you found the right buyer.Look after her Cheers Matt.
  19. Awesome! Nice work dude.
  20. Very sexy indeed! Nice find there buddy.
  21. That is nice! Where is this pussy magnet?
  22. Well, basically all the parts that have had paint on them from factory can be re-done/painted. I painted the block with black engine paint before we fitted it and same goes for the silver head. But apart from them it's just one thing at a time. You can paint the engine fan shrouds if they are a bit tacky and the top of the radiator (you can tape it up properly which saves you removing it). Also get some wd40 onto your hoses to get them to shine up nice. Generally it's one thing at a time. Good Luck buddy
  23. Nice finds mate! The yellow one seems to be a good base for a project car! Good to hear you have started cleaning them up. In my opinion get the red 1 ready for daily duties and have the yellow beastie on the side as a project :) Cheers Matt.
  24. Make sure you degrease all the greasy parts! And then get your hands on some "autosol" (only use on raw finished metals). Then polish what you can by hand and paint what you can for that 'clean but better than factory look!' This is how my 7k came out after some elbow grease (i got the rocker cover professionally polished)..... Cheers, Matt.
  25. Well they're from a rotary mazda with a 4 stud pattern! (like that narrows it down) My old man says he remembers them on a rx2 that belonged to a customer. They lookto be in good shape so they would probably be worth $10-$20 each. Matt.
