  1. I suggest signing up on toymods for more details/photos. The link was the sale ad from the owner posted in January, it appears it was still for sale in April, basically it was stolen and recovered with some bits missing. Best contact him for details through the site.
  2. Here's a pic from the link Basically it was this:
  3. KE30 Brakes = Yes KE30 Struts = No
  4. See the links in this post : LINK
  5. I take it this is the one... Ebay link Thanks for the info! Gives us something to look into, there's definitely not alot of room left for the brake master once a 4AG is in place!
  6. The 25 spline Pintara diffs are similar to stock VL commo diffs and run 4.11. The Skylines are 28 spline similar to VL turbo and run 3.89. Both are the same width (1470mm) and have one side longer than the other and require cutting down one side to make it equal. I have both types sitting in my garage.
  7. The company who makes them, does it have a model reference number? do they have a website link that i can look at for their range of other M/C's ie. do they come in a bigger bore sizes?
  8. Do you have any further details or links? Looks interesting.....
  9. Link Make it another you've seen, but yeah first for oz?
  10. R31 Pintara/Skyline Explains the Skyline stockies, 14's toyota rims have a smaller centre hole and probably won't fit. You might find the discs use an integrated hub, so the complete unit is replaced. Reference
  11. Fitted a 11/16" twin bore early Galant M/C with KE20 proportioning valve into my KE10. Will have to enlarge the firewall hole but does the job very well.
  12. Conversions on these models are not cheap/straightforward if that's what your after. The figures already quoted would be realistic of whats required. Do you have a budget in mind? Any reason why you wouldn't just 4AGE/4AGZE/4AGTE? It's been done many times and can be made legal. Best advice we can give you is to do a search, go through the rides and projects and see for yourself what others have done.
  13. Depends what it's going into, won't be bolt up job at all. I believe they are an E series diff meaning no LSD's available if you want one later.
  14. Pics/details???? Got some Volvo 4 pots and would be interested how its bolted together.
  15. Commodore calipers with adapter, Magna discs, T18 struts (i assume 86, 70,71 would be similar?) http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=10466 Looking to do something similar with the same setup theory but with 4 pots. Still in the works. Another setup i was going to use was with JDM AE86 vented discs (about $150/pair new) and 83-87 Honda Prelude Calipers (similar to overpriced JDM 86's but cheaper) with little modification to fit. This would of fit under 13's but decided to design a bigger setup.
  16. Spotted diesel in Sydney for $1.93 yesterday, supposedly a 'cheap' day. That's where regular unleaded is heading. If you must boycott the 'Big Four' then go to the independents, support the little guys. Most of the time you'll find them to be a little cheaper and the quality is the same, the threats about dodgy fuel are scare tactics from the majors.
  17. The hubs and discs from the ke55 will fit on the ke20 struts but require the smaller ke10/20 hub bearings to suit the stub axle. Not sure how easy it is to get the small bearings. The caliper backing plate from a ke55 should bolt up to the ke20 strut, the bolt holes from the ke70 ones don't line up. Use the thicker ke70 discs/calipers if the ke55 discs are the slightly thinner jap type (12.7mm vs 10mm). Would you have any details of that Volvo setup ie. how they were mounted and with what discs?
  18. Looks Hot :( Got some details on the front end? brakes etc?
  19. Just got back from overseas, thought i might have missed it... The '10 will be there, it's not QUALITY, but it'll be there :lolcry: Probably meet up at the twin servos
  20. Ke70 is non-ps rack and pinion but would still be alot easier to handle then the old worm and sector setup in the ke10. I have heard of Power steering racks from a Laser/Meteor being a possibility. Have you checked with your local engineer to make sure the rules don't apply? Reference link BTW... i'm very interested to see how it would fit without significant engine bay modification
  21. Brakes: Look for something custom from Hoppers Stoppers Steering: Replacing worn original ball joints / tie rods would help lighten the steering. May be possible to fit a rack and pinion from a ke70 with a fair bit of work to get the geometries right (especially with a V6 in the engine bay) I assume it's a small block V6 (under 2.0L), in NSW (and most states) the engineering rule for a NA engine is tare weight x3 (ie. KE10 weighs 710kg x 3 = 2.13L engine allowable)
  22. Sprinter boys usually upgrade to these when their T-series diffs break too often. The Tarago diffs come in two types, E-series and F-series. The F-series being more desirable as they slightly stronger than the E-series and have LSD's available. The E-series don't have any easily available LSD's. The F-series are generally found on the YR22 Tarago (EFI models). The diffs are a little wider than usual at around 1450mm so would require some cutting down depending on what car its going into.
  23. Some of the guys may have already seen this, first cruise to the 'gong in the latest Fast Fours Should be able to make again in the '10.... should be its last cruise before it comes off the road for its overdue reincarnation
  24. I could be wrong, but i'm sure it was an 18RGTE
