  1. 70's colors are what the new jap colors are missing... willow green and bamboo!
  2. idiot! when you said firewire, you didn't mention you only needed a port...katie's PC has such a port in the front panel. get your arse round so the rest can bathe in the beauty that was GOR!!
  3. i might as well link the only vid of my car for the night.
  4. measure the distance b/w strut tops and go from there...sorry i can't help more than that :jamie:
  5. yes, the orig whitewalls were cross-ply.
  6. yeah, i like the look of that ^^^^
  7. both the ke70 and ke35 one are BW diffs. any time you wanna come pick one or both up, feel free... they're just sitting in the carport taking up floor.
  8. you discriminate too much raven...you don't like the 20's, yet you're willing to take the bonnet from my ke20??! Yellow_18, there's subtle differences b/w the 10 and 11, taillights, c pillars, badging, and that's all i know :jamie:
  9. every week or fortnight go around and offer to buy the car, say $500~$800, something reasonable for its condition. they'll either give in, or put a restraining order on you...win-win!!
  10. judging by the background, i don't think it's been photochopped lower...it'd just be the angle the pic was taken.
  11. F*#k me that's one gorgeous car! find some rubbish stock wheels, and park that thing in storage for another 10 yrs or so...
  12. ke20's come and go on a regular-ish basis, every few month or so. get some info and pictures of what's currently out there and what's done to them, then go around there and talk business with him. but for $6k, i'd buy nothing less than PMP020's KE20 with the RB30ET in it!!!
  13. have you got yourself booked in already matt??
  14. you'd need to more than shovel...maybe sledge-hammer a bit, possibly move a few things around too
  15. looks like it came from an AE71/86
  16. something early/mid may i'd reckon...to give everyone time for repairs/upgrades since the last cruise. some need small fixes, my tailshaft. some need bigger ones, kickn5k's master cylinder. others need new engines, webers and his BHG 16v. and someone else needs to get his rotor-rolla finished... and i spose i can't forget our non-rolla leader and his high exhaust temp'd wagooooon :)
  17. so long as i have my car drivable, i'll be there!
  18. cheers. i think i might be spending a bit of time out on the backroads doing some 'testing' in both the 55 and the 20 in the near future, once i organise my tailshaft anyway.
  19. just to confirm, my ke20 has this elastic strip. nfi on its use, but it's there.
  20. yeah, there's a bunch of us from melb. a few out west, a heap down frankston, and a couple kinda north north-east. jump into the vic/melb members section and say gday :(
  21. none taken Si...i'm still a huge beginner with anything to do with organised motorsport, as well as illegal driving on public roads. was pure stupidity. pissy lil burnout for some heat, 5k rpm on the line, no slack taken up prior to clutch dump...*TING* i go nowhere.
  22. well, as it turned out, she did get covered in dust on friday while i was at work. :) i grabbed some pics on the camera (instead of the phone) but can't locate my cable, so no uploads :n: the 195's i put on the back scrub with weight in the rear, so i think i might be knocking the lip outta the way so i can run them full time, as this was just a fun test for the drags... news from the drags, i manages an 18.851 @ 112km/h, then i snapped the front uni joint of my tailshaft trying to launch too hard :( have ordered new ones for the front and back. awaiting on package to arrive.
  23. in all honesty, i'd rather the ke20...
  24. you'd much rather THIS!!!!
  25. if even one shortcut was taken this thing would've been done many moons ago. i hope i have enough time/am able to check this out when i come up over easter...
