personally, i drive corollas cos i prefer them over newer cars... the EL xr6 i had for a while was nice for long drives and had power on tap, but it just doesn't feel right when you can't hear the road noise, or turn the wheel a little bit, taking no effort, and have the car spear off sharper than you wanted cos of the power steering. i'd rather drive cars, than have them drive me.

if you want ot upgrade the front suspension, look at AE86 parts. throwing nissan stuff at it will upset the front end geometery. if it's only going to be used off the street, never to be reg'd, if you've got cheap nissan gear, throw it in...

tally, get yourself a throttle cable from a ke3x/5x/7x to attach to the 4k carbie... or just do as raven suggested and use your current 3k inlet and carbie

intake maifolds for ferrari's would be fairly expensive....and bugger if i know how you'd go about mounting twin carbs to one as well!! alright, what car/engine do you have/are wanting to use for said parts?? that will help narrow down the costs/what you can and can't get...

the 'bump' in the center of the firewall is for the heater unit. but anyway... i've seen people cut around it in a big square, and just flip it, so it becomes a divot instead of a bump.

ditch it for one that's running on all cylinders all the time...

raven. the inspector i spoke to (who has been a RWC inspector for about 20 odd years) before i got my side-pipe made, said that i should be fine even tho it is a window. i offered up solutions, like fixing the opening lever so that it can't be used to open the window, or removing the lever and siliconing up the window and rubbers so that it would never be able to open again. he said just get it done and if i have any problems to see him after the event and we'll sort it out then. it's one of those funny rules that swings 3 ways all at once! oh, and in vic, it's only 40mm :D none of this 30cm crap... dF

fiarly certain the auto and manual tailshafts have different yolks.
