  1. To create a cooler plug, but keeping the standard style plug that the dished piston engines run, close the gap from 1.1mm, to 1.0mm. This is a technique used by owners of cars on gas, to create a cooler plug if their variety isn't available. The technical reasoning behind this is that the spark surface area is decreased, such that complete ignition takes longer to propagate.
  2. Oh no. not the one that you brought into work that time? was it insured? at least they didn't burn it, but still pretty rough. You always seem to have a bit on your plate - good to see you out and about tho on the weekend. Apologies for bailing though at the end

    Playah!

Ah well, Might as well post on this, given we've started a new comp finally. We're playing Footsal now, in the mixed comp on Wednesday nights in Vermont South now. So far, We've been undefeated, with I believe 3 wins, and 1 draw. So far we're in 3rd with a chance to get into 2nd this week, as we're playing 2nd place. Should be a close match; assuming the goalie doesn't get sent off again leaving me in goals. Cheers Folks
  4. Updates? *Bangs fists on keyboard*
  5. You'd be a very sad owner if it did a head gasket...
  6. Good write-up. I'd love to document such a drive, but unfortunately outside of the temperature extremes, we don't have quite the expanse of country to experience the time/light extremes that you have in Europe. Still, very entertaining, Cheers
  7. SWEEET!!!, but you're missing the key ingredient of the white hat prominently displayed on the rear parcel shelf. So, how did your game go?
  8. Good to see you out today mate. Car looked great. Hope you and your dad enjoyed yourselves. Cheers Andrew
  9. Hmmm...Maybe you shouldn't have been following me into healesville like you were then ...ah well, good shake down for it anyway. Here's a Few more...
  10. Are we to assume you have the K-T adaptor too? what engine did the T40 come off?
  11. Oh Snap! I just got home then, after a somewhat interesting run home (vis soccer - we won btw, 12-5). did you uncover anything in the carpark? front suspension related or engine? KEHendo had a front end niggle too, but was able to soldier on (seemingly ok). Thanks to everyone who came along. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. Hope to see some pics soon. Cheers Andrew
  12. Ok, Just to be fair to the pub/and the booking, any late notices may or may not be served with the main group for lunch. But all are welcome. Just as a last reminder, remember to charge your batteries for your CB's. Also, It'll most likely be a little cool in places, so might want to bring jumpers... Have a good one
  13. Should be sweet. They know its a large group, so i'm sure plus or minus one wont get us kicked out - more profits for them, and the time goes quicker... one more sleep...ONE MORE SLEEP - Can't Wait!!! While I remember, if you need to contact me for any reason, my Mobile is 0408 489 403. Cheers Folks, See you tomoz
  14. Woo, 2 days of work, and then SUNDAY! I'm sure you wont be alone in your car hopping traits...
  15. Diamond creek, Kinglake, Healesville, then Maroondah reservoir, Narbethong/Marysville, Yarra Reservoir (assuming we make it early enough this year), then lilydale and home... Plenty of places/stops for everyone to quench their amounting thirsts... oo, and on a side note, might I see my green top again this weekend?
  16. At least I have a roadworthy car this time (ie, tires) Looks like I'm screwed then... :P
  17. Ok, bookings have been confirmed, but unfortunately we're on a tight schedule as were have to be there by around 12.30 (due to the size of the group). Thus, when the bell tolls 11am, we will be leaving the car-park - no ifs/buts. If you don't happen to make it to diamond creek in time, then head to Healesville for 12.30. According to Google maps, the run should take us 1:32 to go from Diamond creek to Healesville, so it will look to be a brief re-group in Kinglake, then head down to the pub. Cheers Can't wait for this one guys.

  25. spotted ke38, abandoned beside the road, on the Geelong Ring rd (Southbound), outside of Wandana Heights. No plates, brown, dent in drivers quarter. so tempted to ring police, to wonder how to go about salvaging...
