  1. If you need help fixing it up Chet, let me know
  2. What you have to remember is the Trueno came out with a bobtail but the Levin didnt (I think thats right), so the ebay bobtail is a replica of the Trueno (or Levin) factory fitted version, which means it should suit the car. I think Jono's idea was a good one though and may take that path in the future :(
  3. KE30 upgrade will require KE30 backing plates I believe, but don't quote me on that. Your water problem could also be due to the difference in the water pumps :( If your old waterpump was fine, you could swap them over and use the original ports for the hose (I'm thinking its a heater hose issue you're having but you werent really specific on that). Hope you get your brakes sorted :o
  4. 3SGE with mikuni carbs and TRD Tosco rims which can be imported from Japan but are costly....oh, they're 13x8's too. Regarding the bootlid, thats a good idea :) I'm too much of a dumbass to think of that lol. :o And regarding colour......you'll see in due time! :(
  5. I'm still umming and ahhing as to whether I go all out and get a TE27 Trueno replica bootlid duck tail spoiler (as seen on eBay) or not yet. I guess I can always put it on later if it looks a bit unusual with just the front lip spoiler on it.
  6. I stumbled across this a couple of days ago while doing a google image search and its quite an interesting read. It also shows how a TE27/KE25 will look with the bolt on flares and jap front lip spoiler. :( Click Here To Read Enjoy! Raven
  7. Use your original manifold and rejet your 3K carb :( I did that on my KE36 when i slapped a 4K in it and it originally had a 3K.
  8. You'd be correct in saying that as several of us have the Toyota EPC here. Microfiche is the only way to try and get those parts :(
  9. Higher/Lower - Same lol :(
  10. Haha, awesome. Glad you got them in :) Bet you sit a little higher too now that you are sitting in seats that arent collapsed :o
  11. *waits for pics of seats installed* :(
  12. Try changing your venturi's to 28/34 :(
  13. Since when did you become a Neesan owner? :(
  14. The shocks require shock absorber inserts for the front anyway. Not sure about the rear of these cars. So what you have to do is remove the strut from the car by compressing the spring and undoing all nuts and bolts that hold the strut to the front lower control arm and to the strut tower. Loosen off the strut top nut while its all in the car before you go compressing springs etc. This will also require you to undo your brake caliper to get the strut out. Most calipers are held on by a clip and the brake hose runs through a tab on the strut, so you will have to undo your brake line which will then require you to bleed your brakes after the front is put back together. The easiest way I have found to install new shock absorber inserts is to place the strut in a bench vice and undo the gland nut on top. The strut may or may not be oil-filled. If its oil-filled, tip out the oil and dispose of thoughtfully (not down the drain). Now, depending on how much lower you are going depends on if you stick with standard length shock inserts or short stroke shock inserts. This is where you will need to do some research regarding spring length and whether it will be captive or not. Once you've got your shock insert, its just a matter of placing the insert in the strut and tighten the gland nut that came with the shock insert down night and tight. Once that is done, put your new spring on the spring seat and compress it if need be and install the strut top on the new shock insert at the top and refit to the car. I THINK thats everything. If I've missed something, someone point it out.
  15. They're the same wheels my KE25 is going to end up with....Konig Rewinds :)
  16. And here I was thinking Mr Mark didnt really own one because I hadnt seen any pics :)
  17. You'll geta better burn with the colder air but thats about it. Supercharge it and get an aftermarket computer and then you're talkin' :)

don't think it was. I've seen Benzo's car while driving next to it before and this one was more cream/beige than white :)

Spotted a KE20, slammed, white/beige with the whitewalls and venetians last night heading down Pt. Wakefield Road. I was at the lights under the South Road Connector bridge :)
  20. I thought points would be under $10? Condensor should cost more than points anyway and are easy to get a set at superdodgy auto :)
  21. nice looking tiller there :) Should suit the car well.
  22. - buy a new set of points - buy a setof feeler gauges - set points properly - set timing properly - check dizzy cap lead posts for signs of wear/corrosion. If worn, replace. Give that a shot :)
  23. Yep S2000 motor. Jump on toyota3tc.com and search for the TE27 F20C on there :)
  24. I had a 3K that did that in my KE36. It ended up being a corroded Dizzy cap. Got a new one and all was sweet. :)
