just lock it, its not really worth the money to convert IMO, if its locked "properly" it will never let you down, the misconception of locked diffs comes from bogans in vn commodores doing it, extremely dodgy "yeah come on dere robbo we jus get da ol stick out der brah" (probly whilest drunk on powers gold and the like) to do hektik skids in their local industrial estate my diff is locked and hasnt let me down yet with many a heavy clutch kick

yes all will work but add a lock spacer and you will have epic lock and camber with those xt130 lcas

cheers lads, both of his shafts, one of which i have, fit into both his t50 and his k40 and k50? does anyone know how many teeth the t50 out of the t18 is? i can work out how all of his boxes have a 20 tooth output?

hey guys just a question, a friend of mine gave me a tailshaft to fit to my t50, and counted my output spline teeth on the t50 and of course there was 22, the tailshaft has only 20. no news there. so i rang my mate and told him and he was like wtf?, it fits my t50 and sent me a pic of the same shaft in his t50, and he said it also fits my k50 and my k40 box...............? my question is, is it possible to make a hybrid box with a 20 tooth output out of the k series to the t series, to fit the 20 tooth input? if you know what i mean i don't understand how his tailshaft fits his t50 AND k50/40 aswell its a sigle piece shaft if that helps might be food for thought if anyone can help that would be great because there is certainly more 20 tooth inputs than there is 22 tooth getting around cheers james

have you found a clutch yet? exedy do a cushion brass button, i had one in my starlet gt and the missus found that very easy to deal with and she is quite petite, but still held nicely with 16psi and 180 hp but I'm sure they will have alot more in them than that

definately buy/borrow a gun man (preferably a gravity fed one), they will give 194745993784989573x better result than a can ever will, even the supercheap ones are good for the price and if you are sliding it, you will more than likely going to use it more than once. you will probly nearly paint the whole car with 2.5 litres (this will mix up to nearly 6 litres) of paint (assuming its acrylic)and the color and coverage will come into play too :) cheers james
