your talking about a car that was first manufactured in 1983, at the time it was considered to be well ahead most cars you could buy off the show room floor for a reasonable price. what made the car so good was it's over all BALANCE, twin cam engine, 4 wheel disc brakes, RWD configuration, and reasonably good power to weight ratio. with very little work they could be run in most motorsport events competitively. and now,how many years on, and the're still sort after, not too many cars i know of can lay clam to that. long live the AE86

October 1980 KE55 Sedan 341,200klms Factory 5-speed Reconditioned 4K Very good mechanically: always starts first time. I've done 21,000 in it and it's been a dream run. Hey Hey i had to mishaps today. Went to a mates place and i knew I'd beat him home so i drove down the muddy drive way slowly and went to go for my usual park next to his ute, Driving down then the back stepped out and i was doing about 15kph not trying to slide as it was wet. got half way up the hill and couldn't go up any more so tried to reverse back but the car was sliding towards his ute down the hill, So i stopped and waited for him to come home to pull me out. i could sit it in drive with no accelerator and watch the rears spin. Been slowly getting into 3d art while I'm doin work for the dole. The supervisor running it is teaching me a thing or two and pointed me to some cool sites you guys might like.
