Thought i'd rescue this one, its only had 2 owners both in the same family, 74 model, 4 speed, big block factory 1400 motor and the usual grandpa touch ups. I'll post more pics after i've stripped and cleaned it. If anyone has bits for one of these i,m interested : rear bumper, interior rear view mirror, seats in white, also some Sigma steel wheels with factory center cap

Meet Joansy. Owned by the same family since 1974. Saw a post by another member in the spotted thread. There was a link to the trading post. We called. Got to the owner's house by about 8:45pm and took Joansy for a short drive up to the servo so that we could check her over under the lights. She hasn't been modified in any way but the family weren't enthusiasts so though she's been well loved, any little repairs haven't been done the way a meticulous collector might do. Nothing major. Just little things like the door puller on the passenger side has been replaced with a handle from a set of drawers. :) The seats have "Playboy" covers heh heh and she desperately needs a…

Hi guys and girls. as u may remember i was going to build a ke20 . I had posted pictures of the bare shell and set myself a year to build it. In the meantime my lower back has been giving me grief. To cut a long story short , my girlfriend and i were driving out one night to pick up some pizzas, and as we were passing a MacDonalds i noticed a mustard ke20 parked in the car park of the maccas. i did a hard left, the gf shit herself and said what the hell, then she realised . I pulled in next to it and started eyeballing it badly. It had a smashed front. At first i thought it was dumped. had no reg on it either. I said to the gf shit that thing could come up alright. She …

Hi corolla people. I`m gonna introduce my project. It`s a Corolla Ke26 Wagon from 1971 and it`s one of very few still allive here in Norway. Bought it this winter and the wagon is in stock condition with no uppgrades of any kind. The powerplant is the "angry" 3k engine but it`s running nice to be that old. It have been repainted for some years ago with various results. My first task is to get it free from rust and do a major service on the suspension and brakes. Sorry for my Petter Solberg english but I'm norwegian you know :D Feel free to comment. Taking it appart Some rust... and building foam... :y: New metal …

Didn't know where to post this one but it does have one of my rides in it. Just came back from a road trip to Phillip Island with some freinds in a KE17 SL Sprinter, MX23 MK2 Corona and my RT72 Corona 1900 SL, we all went down to watch the historic motor racing. Our first day was Sydney to Beechworth, then to St Kilda for two nights then of to the Island for three nights. From there it was back to Cooma to visit Flynn's Wreckers then back home. We all had a great time with no major probs, we travelled about 2400kms on our trip and the old RT72 averaged about 7.5 lts per 100kms for the whole trip. That was with 2 adults one child and a boot chocked with luggage. The KE1…

Can't believe our luck! My brother just bought a ke10 as a project for us. Its a ke10-B, an update 10, with ke11 dash, but still just a K. Apparantly this car spent time in Tokyo, before being inported into Aus. (Has got AMI badges tho) Lived in Darwin, survived cyclone Tracy, although a tree went thru the windscreen and smashed up the dash. Then was shipped to Adelaide, before coming to canberra about 25 years ago. We spotted this car no more then 500 meters from mum and dads house, out front, under a gum tree. The owers were going to sent it to the crusher, we saved it with only a few days to spare! AND we got it for $200!!!!!!!!!! This is about all t…

I picked this up for $100, it was a fair mess when I got it, was shoved in the corner of the guys shed and had a commodore muffler on it. After my first day of owning it I have given it a good clean, pumped the tires, polished it all up, taken off the commy muffler and put all the missing bolts back in. Came with a free fox sticker lol. The wiring nightmare I'll have to get Alex or MadMatt to come have a look at (This is why it's not running). Mods: Lifan 140cc motor Aftermarket forks (not sure on brand) CDI Plans: Get it running Uni filter OKO 28mm carby H Bomb exhaust with carbon fibre muffler HD Clutch And I'm gonn…

so this is my 4door 1969 ke10. I'm not sure weither to tidy it up or get rid of it. its real straight and has not rust, has been panelled and primed, just needs a rub back and a top coat really. but whats makes me unsure is the second two photos.. the last owner has modified the gearbox/driveshaft tunnel, or should i say made it massive. I'm not sure they have done it but they have. it doesnt really effect the vehicle that much but the things i don't like about it are... 1) means the original back seat wont fit properly unless i get that part changed back 2) less foot room front and back 3) takes away from the original-ness of the car 4) its just stupidly…

I recently bought a good condition a 1974 KE25 Deluxe Coupe which means it has AIR CONDITIONING!!! named "Lady Brown" It is a 1.2 litre 3K-h 2 speed automatic toyoglide which heavily lacks in acceleration! It is dead stock but my plans are to put a larger carby in it, possibly twin SU's or just a single webber and to do a manual conversion. It has several very small dents on the doors due to inconsiderate people in carparks, to solve this problem i have installed some bumper strips stretching the entire length of the car. i actually think it looks better like this. There are few small spots of rust no bigger than a five cent piece on the roof as well as the boot …

I picked up this baby for $1200. its got great torque @4000rpm - 7500rpm but it needs something done to it so I can take off with the power it has at the higher revs. I just replaced the lhf hud and it handles like a dream now, its also just had a clutch in the last year, the gearbox doesnt go into 2nd if I'm doing over 50kph for some reason and its annoying because it does over 90kph in 2nd before its redlines anyone have a suggestion? I'm just a newb when it comes to talking about cars but I'm trying to learn. I pulled the motor apart and cleaned it since I took these, I also got pulled over by the department of transport and they gave it a green ticket, which is goo…

I have a Blue/Purple Corolla is a late 99 modle. last year had unfortunate accdient involving a Guard rail in a national park i have just recently got my car all fixed up and back on the road after much suffering driving a smashed up car. People say to me why did i buy a rolla for and not a commodore and i don't know an answer but just a rolla is really easy to do up and there cheap parts you can get for them. but any ways i have painted some interiour parts and put in my own sound systerm and it sounds awsome sony headunit , JBL 5 1/4" in the back, Precision 6" splits, Precision 720watt 4 channel amp and son…

sarp rollaclub, havent put up a members ride since my first car so here i am to do it again. swapped my rusty old 70 wagon for this 1975 ke30! its stock, and needs a new drivers front quarter panel (are early ones and late ones the same?) and a boot. so if anyone in Adelaide has a white one for sale let me know  havent been able to give it a clean yet due to the crappy weather in SA, interiors pretty overrated, needs a new back seat (the back part) and a few tears in the front seats which i'll prob get stitched up. i spent today mounting and hooking up an electric fan. basically 2 metal brackets along the front holding in place and a switch in the c…

Hi guys, I've got an AE71 panno that I'm currently building up and I need some advice on what colour to change it to. It is currently beige (with black primer and rust highlights) and so far my options are: 1. Gloss black (Silhouette from BF Falcon). 2. Midnight purple (R33 GT-R) 3. Beige with wood look side panels (with gold lowrider style wire wheels) The respray will be done roughly when I get my tax refund this year. Any thoughts on these options (or others) will help me out heaps. I'll try and put some photos up shortly.

Hey guys, My name's tom & I thought it's about time i posted up about 1 of my corolla's lol. It just so happens that bought it from a mate of mine during the week. Cheers Josh  I've previously had 3 ke70's & 4 ae71's over the year's (1 with a 100kw 4age which has been sold for a couple of years now & missed every day lol), but this is my final 1 that i'm allowed for a while. EDIT: Alright there's been a change in plans. I had recently bought the orange ke70 off my mate, then i got offered a swap for my girlfriends younger brothers ae71 with a smallport rwd converted 4age engine, loom & ecu.
