Hey, just got this AE71 wagon for $250 got it for the 4ac that will go into the other ae71 wagon (my mothers) so be left with a AE71 manual wagon needing a motor smile.gif body is ok bit of rust in usual spots - bonnet, behind wheel arches in the back, and little bit in the door and around the windows- nothing major, interior is all there window support on RHR is f@$ked usual rusting out it seems. so motor will come out go into the other wagon then I'm left with a wagon to play with it seems smile.gif time for a 4age i say. the twins !

I am doing up my ae71, it has a lock diff, webber carbie, 13inch hot wire wheels, 5 speed manual, 86 struts in the front, ford springs in the rear & the paint is can matte black. The interior was very shit! They guy i got it from had just spray can black the whole dash and all the plastics with out taking them out of the car and tried to do the carpet and roof in shit black carpet. When i got the car home i realized it was sitting lopsided in the front, so i jacked it up & the guy had only chopped the spring on the passenger side & not the driver's side…

when i ask can you slap a 351 into a ke20 i don't mean just drop an engine in and drive. i mean engineered and road legal. most will say I'm a dreamer but honestly can it at all be done? I'm not the biggest fan of turbo cars as fun as they may be the rumble of a v8 always gets me i was thinking of doing this to my mk2 cortina which is of similiar weight, but come on, in a ke20 it would be the sweetest thing. i know i can't legally put a engine bigger then a 2.0 in a ke20 and me wanting a 5.8 is a massive ask. but if i was to only use the body of a ke20. for example, use an ford xe chassis, with a ke20 body and cut the chassis to fit. anyone know of such…

New to this site, have purchased, finally found a descent ke20. Have always been on the hunt for the one. Found it 80,000 original k's everything on it priginal apart from the wheels. Am going to keep it standard, with a few possibilities. I have a 5 speed box to go in, and have put discs up front, and most likely lower it.

G'day everone! A friend and I have recently got our hands on a KE70, $350 and thought it was quite a steal! It needs a few things to make roadworthy (supposed new radiator hose and the rear diff is leaking) and it still has rego to Feb 09 :yes: What we're currently doing is sanding it all back and priming it ready for a new spray. Neither of us know much about the mechanical side of things and if any of you guys could give us a hand it would be greatly appreciated!! I've started a blog, documenting the stages as we go with pretty pictures. KE70.TUMBLR.COM (exactly that) Some feedback would be excellent on what we've done/ can do. Regards.

hi there thought id put this up once id at least rego'ed it this is my ke55 i bought for $400. originally bought this as a donor car for my 13b bridgy N/A out of my rx7 as it is in the process of a bridgy turbo conversion. i liked the shape of the ke30 and looks a fairly straight forward conversion as conversions go. anyways it was a bit beat up, rust in usual places, completely standard but overall in not too bad nick as ive seen alot worse. never was a fan of the 55 front end and bumpers kinda looked a bit queer so that was first to go. 30 bonnet, bumpers and grill next engine got a tidy up, new leads, service etc, degrease, coat of matt black for a tidy…

okay people, i finally got time to post my rolla. i was looking for a rwd corolla before buying this but then after looking around for a while I couldn't get one in condition i wanted. so.. this is what i bought! it is a 1990 csx model ae92 seca. bought this last month in stock condition, but since then i've got alarm system installed, tinted the windows, replaced some interior plastic trims, replaced front speakers and also put in new speakers in the parcel shelf at the back. oh yeah, now the car has a white rollaclub url sticker on the rear liftback window! :y: the car doesn't have as much power as other cars in this forum lol. but i'm happy enough :y: okay n…

This is my 1981 Ke70 Corolla, that ill slowely be doing up, Just done a few little things to it so far, Will be getting a respray In a Dark Green colour. With 17-18'' Chrome wheels (Id get them engineered), & then do up the interior & then the mechanical side of things. Its going to be a slow project, As I'm saving as I'm doing it, & Its got heaps of rego, & It dosnt look to bad now. I also put a Nice exhuast on since photo's. Enjoy. This used to be my wife's everyday car up until about 7 years ago, she got a company car. Was left under a carport at my parents place. It just needed a battery, fuel and a new fuel pump and off she went. The brakes are partially seized and there's a bit more rust now. Its only done about 92,000 miles, except for the drivers seat most of the interior is good. Planning on tidying her up a bit, overhaul the brakes and sticking it on Historic Registration. She used to fly with the twin SU's, heaps better than the original factory twin carbs.

hey got this to transfer all of my parts off my white one into, just a stock 5spd 4kc with a reconed motor about 80***ks ago, owned by an old guy before i got it, well looked after, original radio still works! has a bit of rust in the back end, ie tyre well etc, so going to cut it out of the white one an weld into this one :).. so far it has 35mm extended lca's, short stroke shocks, smaller springs ;), & the enkei ap's. still to go in is the welded diff & exhaust, just waiting for this shitty weather to clear up then itll be in.. heres some pics.. latest pics have stodgies, as i got a flat on the rear on one of my buckled rims :( g…

hows it goin. heres my old rolla witch now is fukooted after i rolled it on my brother's track ;) but the same day me n my mate got a new beast :yes: 84 ke70 5spd fair overrated exept one bit of rust on the right rear wheel arch n thats it. the interior is overrated n 280xxx ks. got it for 500 buks. but only to get 14k's away from where we bought it to find the temp. guage don't work n that we cooked it :n: ( 46 degrease in the sun ). all cuz the bloke was to fukn worried if he had told us there was a leak in tha radiator that we wouldnt buy it!!!!!!!!!!! now he's gunna pay to fix it hahaha.

what do people do when thay get time off, this started as just a retrim in the boot, but one thing went to another and now its a full retrim. this isn't my work but, i did'nt get holidays, all the trimming was done by my dad,

Let me know what you think. Its a 2 owner 1980 ke70 dx corolla Nz New and is factory twin headlight. It only has 135ks on the clock and the paint it mostly original. Has had all rust cut out and has a 4k which has had a fresh rebuild and twin carbs added. It actually goes suprisingly well for a 4k and 4speed. Its lowered 3 1/2 - 4 inchs and has 15inch celica/supra alloys on it. Standard interior except for a woodgrain steering wheel and center console. Nothing too extreme with massive offset …

picked u a little ae82 sedan this week for 700 no rego. great paint body interior super cold air no rego 700 bucks. I had some 15 interceptor style rims which I put on for now. Only downside is its auto. 4AGE arrives Sunday which to be different I want to run on bike carbs
