My other E7 project. Also -83 2D originally 4k, k40. I have a third ke70 corolla but it waits restoring. "Hidden" under the hood 3S-FE engine, W51 transmission, CA-60 rear axel with 9" brakes and lot of self made parts. :rolls: Engine runs now but it has litle bit work before i can go to test drive.. :huh: Pictures are little bit old but shows condition.

Just acquired this ke70 from a co-worker, he sold it to at a pretty cheap price. It does need shitloads of work, some body work needs doing, it's got a fawkin transplanted driver's door with different color. Smells like a sewer inside, but the engine runs good. bad things happen when i get bored, i have a yn85r hilux as my run around to pick up parts and so on and have been driving it a fair bit lately so ive had boost withdrawals from not driving the cressida. so i bought a wrx standard turbo off a mate for $100 and I'm going to do a blow through weber carby set up. i spent today doing half of the job so all i really have to do is make a J pipe for the turbo, exhaust and boost pipe. ive done as much as i can so its still drivable and will try do the rest next weekend. first thing i did was pull the sump off and weld a fitting in for the oil drain then i pulled dissy apart and drilled two holes and put screws in to st…

I have been here a while and thought It was time I showed a few pictures of my car and what type of driving it sees. the car is a dark blue KE70 flat front and has been owned by nearly everyone. Hey all, just got my first car today, after about 9 months of searching for a good enough ke70 i found one. I'm 16, and this is my project car with dad. Stock and pretty much rust free, its a good start. :dance: Engine bay. Stock 4k-c Perfect interior. Hi all! this is mine and my mates new ride.. needs a lot of work, and I can't exaggerate enough about the a lot part.. When we went to inspect the car we were originally looking at the KE70 wagon but it wasn't worth our time.. he had about 5 in total and in the dark this looked like the cleanest one, yet we were deceived, Instead of driving back home and thinking about it we gave him 300 for it and drove it home. Hey all, We got a overrated 55 that me and my brother went halfs in 2-3 years ago from a one owner old granny. anyways cut a long story short me and my brother were doing a burnout and then donuts and smashed into dads trailer lool. only damange is bumper, grill and right gaurd. Hey guys, Just thought i'd start a thread of my recently purchased $500 ke70 that i'm planning to work on over time. Specs are- 1983 Flat Front Ke70 Standard 4k motor 4spd Golf Ball JDM gear knob :P Fairly straight body with a fair bit of rust. Its pretty stock standard but didnt expect much for 500 bucks. My intentions are to make it look a little more JDM and turn it into a street/track car. My 4agte Ke70 recently blew up its 2nd standard diff. So i decided to do a conversion I Recently completed my diff conversion in my ke70. R31 skyline lsd disc brake diff. After much research i found that everyone was either taking both diffs to an engineering shop to get the mounts changed over, or making up a jig. Both options are quite expensive/time consuming. Being low on cash i did the conversion a cheaper way and wanted to tell others- (this is the reason for this post). I first marked a centre line on both diffs (went between the upper trailing arms on the ke, and between the sway bar mounts on the r31 to work it out). Then marked a reference line along …

Picked this bad boy up about 1 month ago as a bit of a side project along side getting my calais turbo wagon back on the road......its a 1983 KE70 Wagon, 4k, 4spd manual, 190,xxx kms on the clock. Doesn't blow smoke, lights work (sort of) and it drives pretty straight considering its age. This is basically going to be my car to learn rust repair, body prep and painting on. It's unrego'd so It doesnt really bother me long it takes to sort out. It has a decent amount of rust, but most of it I THINK i will be able to sort out.

Well, as the title suggests, I'm new to rollaclub, and i have a ke70 granny spec that i just aquired for free :dance: its an 84 auto, my father inlaw's aunty bought it new, it has 118,xxx k's, a little rust here and there but over all its in great nick for a car from a beachsidetown. she failed her lisence test (shes 89) so does not need the car so just gave it to me. i don't have any pics yet, and the plan it to keep it stock for a while (till i get some cash) then play with it. i live in coffs harbour, I'm 31, and a 2nd yr diesel mechanic apprentice. wanna know anything else, just ask :cool: kev

Not a Corolla I know but thought some might be interested. Copied and pasted from another site. Bought this yoke near two years ago. Was a standard 1 liter 4 speed. Been working on it since, AE86 brakes, coilovers, extra lock powersteering knuckles, NCRCAs, rear gaz coilovers, underneath fully repainted, all new brake lines, seals, pads/shoes, etc. Fully pollybushed. Basically every type of serviceable part replaced, track rods, TCAs etc. Rebuilt a 1.3 4k about a year ago, fitted a TRD 2 way LSD redid the bottom end then, went again, fitted a 4age on bike carbs. Will just let pictures do the talking.

Hey doods, After the death of my last KE55 sedan at a khanacross i was in search for another one. In a little country towm outside of canberra i found this: Its a 1979 KE55 sedan and its awesome! Another granny car but an apprentice mechanic was doing a headgasket and snapped a headbolt and they ceased opperations. So after weeks of me going to for a drive again and again i finally got them to sell it :) So the plan is to put my motor in it and make it very nice.. Teaser pics.. No cracks here
