After Selling my orange KE55 (stupid stupid me) i had been wanting to get myself anouther rolla for a bit of a project car. Mostly i wanted one so that i could have a go of building a tuff cammed motor by myself. Well I managed to get a 4K off the forum for $50 with a Ke70 4 Speed so all i needed was a shell to jam it into to get it running. 4ks slow and shit. engine is in good nick only a 4spd slanty front few bits of rust and a shagged out front end, i suspect minor front end accident. plans will be sr20 with r31 rear end ae86 goodies pig spec. dirty rust.

Gday, New to this forum just thought that I would post up a couple of pics of my ride, Its an AE82 Twincam 184,000 kilometres on the engine, when I bought it it had been used for a run around car for about 10 years and was always kept outside so it was really faded, all that I have done is put some king low springs in and some KYB's thats about it. hey guys got yet another ke70 the other day, paid only a little amount of dollars, but wont let on haha 83 CS FLAT FRONT Air con. Red, came up great afta a buff a tiny little bit of rust behind the passenger wheel arch but not gonna touch it at this stage 4K 4SPEED interior is neat and tidy, with no cracks in the dash(dash mat) just a rip in drivers seat Stockies all round 200,000KM ON THE CLOCK ALL Books and service history Recon motor, Including head, Water pump, Thermo, radiator I'm the 3rd owner PLANS FOR THE FUTURE ARE, SOME SUSP. I previously owned a AE82 cxs seca that wasn't worth doing up and decided to upgrade. she's in fairly good nik and is worth spending a bit of doe on it. Just came back from a road trip to Phillip Island with some freinds in a KE17 SL Sprinter, MX23 MK2 Corona and my RT72 Corona 1900 SL, we all went down to watch the historic motor racing. Our first day was Sydney to Beechworth, then to St Kilda for two nights then of to the Island for three nights. From there it was back to Cooma to visit Flynn's Wreckers then back home. We all had a great time with no major probs, we travelled about 2400kms on our trip and the old RT72 averaged about 7.5 lts per 100kms for the whole trip. hi my names cameron bought this 83 ke70 about 2 months ago had a bit of rust through it. starting to get it ready for a bit of paint then i got some rims and started bogging and getting ready for paint then i got a new steering wheel but thats it so far

Now that i've given the old girl a proper clean up i thought id post up a few details. While it is still far from finished i gave it a cut and polish just to see how the original paint (most of it) would look. Basicaly it started out like a dirty ass chalk board and now its back to its original white, with a brilliant shine through it. It took me about 13 hrs to complete from start to finish over a few days with a bit of gin time as well. Next time if i get carried away i might put the clay bar on it but i should really remove the rusted spots first. Well, I finally got the Corolla that I wanted! Picked it up last weekend. It's a 79, 4 door, 5 speed. Got some minor rust on the quarter panels but we'll be taking care of that part soon. Right now it's painted flat black cause the guy we got it from has a thing with painting all of his cars flat black. I guess it was a gold color orginally so I might go back to that or paint it blue to match my husband's 2 door 79. Husband's working on it as we speak. Nothing on it, pretty stock, just centerlines at the moment but who knows what else is going to happen to it. Wish me luck!! Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

gave it a good wash which revealed alot more rust than expecting but it looks nice, well better than it did my brother helped me with the wheels and my mate in the backround helped me wash it

Hey all. Finally got my camera back from my old ladys so i could take some pics of my car. Its all stocko apart from the 2" exaughst, the cheepo steering wheel which all came with the car and the 2kg of bog in the rear gaurds. I have a funny feeling either an old retierd couple owned this car for 90% of its life or its been well serviced as it runs like a dream. The only thing i need for a road worthy is the front passenger seat belt. Any ways here they are

picked up another '74 ford courier (mazda b1600) gonna start from scratch on this one my original '77 2.3 was running fine, but getting really bad gas milage (15mpg), and used a qt. of oil per 600-700 miles i found out why.....;

Bought this car off a mate for $1500, Its got a rebuilt 4age motor just put in.. Interior is in pretty good nick... Its gonna be standard for a bit but there was quite a list of things to do on the car... Lets see where to start hehe - Both Front window winder mechanisms were stuffed, so i needed a set from the wrecker - Top part of the radiator support had a small amount of damage, the old one has been removed and new one is on now. -Interior needs a good clean -Fuel needs to be drained, its been sitting for a while -Needed a new bonnet (got that now) -Few interior panels needed to be sprayed as they started to fade(with VHT DYE) -Needed an oil…

Today my KE10 which i've owned for the last 11 years has found a new home. The new owner certainly proved himself to be a worthy owner of a classic Japanese car, turning up in a stunning little Mazda 1300. Makes the pain of loosing a great little friend easier knowing its going to a good home. :lock:
