This is the new topic for my bitsa car. You may remember the guts of this car from the little bright blue ke55 kr01la :) Well this is it, just with a bit of cosmetic surgery lol Plans: * Put carpet in * Put new dash in * Swap interior stuff from ke55 * Take out 3K and put in 4K from ke55 * New wheels, preferably watanabes * Respray bonnet and bootlid (already sanded back, just need to get my ass into gear) Feel free to comment :) the engine to go in, not sure what carbies are going on it.

my name is mike, my ke30 was all original, so far ive pulled all the fuel lines removed the tank, pulled the engine and tranny and gutted the interior. original owner cut the springs so I'm pulling em off to swap in originals to give it better lift. with the extra weight of a 4age i may need toupgrade my struts? any thoughts

I bought the car from an old lady n it was pretty crap n it had filthy brown interior. Its got: fresh paint flared guards 17'' chromies overrated blue inerior still reppin the 4k with a webber n extractors haha Its just a killer cruiser.

Hello Peeps, I have recently bought a ke30 stock as a rock and already have a million ideas running through my head. i have tried to utilize the search function but keep having to wait 20 seconds and its getting to me :S if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Atm engine is my last worry as i want the car to brake and handle, so am i able to put in coilovers ? ( what about the rear leafs what can i do there remove them or leave them ? ) Brakes, am i able to throw in s13 hubs all round? the car will be used for the od track and drift day Thanks Deano. pic's from when i bought it.

So this is my second AE86. I picked it up as a rolling shell which was in pretty good condition. Recently I bought a bunch of stuff from buddyparts including: Bare JDM 86 halfcut, JDM 86 front brake setup, JDM 86 T series setup with 2way LSD (Probably swapping it for a standard LSD), kouki dash cluster, jdm fueltank. Car is running and was wired up by the boys at buddyparts. Body work starts next year. The first thing we need to do is figure out what to do with the disgusting "dealer" fitted sunroof. I was wondering if anyone knows of such thing as flares to suit a ke30. I have been seaching on the internet, but can not find any thing anywhere on them. If there is no such thing, there are other flares such as the datsun 1200. which loook quite good. but I'm not too sure how much modifications are needed to get them to fit my corolla. So my boyfriend recently bought me this beasty little ke55 & ive christened her ROSIE th rolla. The first thing i wanted to get out ov th way was th interior - which was standard factory black vinyl & brown carpet. & & By th time i got everything out, she jus looked so bare.. Hey guys, Just thought i'd start a thread of my recently purchased $500 ke70 that i'm planning to work on over time. Specs are- 1983 Flat Front Ke70 Standard 4k motor 4spd Golf Ball JDM gear knob :P Fairly straight body with a fair bit of rust. Its pretty stock standard but didnt expect much for 500 bucks. My intentions are to make it look a little more JDM and turn it into a street/track car. Still have my ke11 , I had said that I had sold it back in Nov 11 (needed the money for a new boat), but that fell through after 3 weeks, so I put it up for sale again after xmas and sold it again but wait for it that fell through as well after another 2 weeks (both deals where from interstae) well the boat is in the shed, and the mrs loves the little rolla so we said why not keep it (need some over time now ) cheers Mal

Just bought my first rolla a couple of weeks back as a compromise from something more expensive so glad i did :happy: it's an '86 seca w/ 4age very clean w/ 128ooo k's on the clock looking (not frantic) for some nice mesh wheels and thinking about upgrading the exhaust system (any ideas?)

this is my ke30 my misses has been driving it for a while. it is pretty much stock execpt i put central locking in it and the power windows i didn't like the universal kits so i fabricated my own. i also repainted and put new crome striping on the grille of it aswell.

Well after looking at some of the other projects on the site. I decided it was time to post up some piccies of the project I am about to undertake. This started it's life with my Wifes next door neighbours, they bought her new and literally drove it about 3 times a week. We got hold of it back in 1999 with an original 48,000klms on the clock but as it was used by two elderly folk, it had a few dents here and there. It was originally Dark Green / Teal colour. hi all, i have been on this site for a while now. I picked up this 1971 ke25 which was a bit of a mess. it was a stolen and recovery vehicle, which the owner no longer wanted to keep. She sold it to me around 4yrs ago. I have been working on it in my spare time, trying to find all the rare bits that i needed to replace. It was a toyoglide when i got it, but the glide in it was gone. I converted it myself to a 5spd manual. I have completed all the mechanical work on this car myself, and i mean myself. Ok so I have a bit of spare time off over xmas/new year so going to finally take the KE55 off the road and start ripping in to the motor and starting the rebuild. I have a spare 4k that I am going to be swaping out the original motor for while I work on it just in case I need to use the rolla to get around. This build is going to be a bit drawn out (simply due to lack of time and low budget), but I need to get most of the major internal mods done to the motor asap as we are losing our company cars not long into the new year which means the rolla will be my daily driver. Also, moving into a new place with a personal workshop which means I can take the whip off the road and give it some major lovin' The body is pretty clean, but the interior and everything else definitely needs work. The boot is leaking a bit of water, motor is leaking oil from the rocker cover and then some. The whole motor and suspension is a hackjob done by what had to be a blindfolded monkey. hey as some of you already know that i had a ke70 with a 4agze then got a ke20 with worked 4k in it, selling my ke20 was the biggest regret i had so from that point i always wanted to get another one so now I'm back in the rolla scene with a fleet of cars. so i started by finding a ke20 on gumtree, car was in pretty bad condition and missing a lot of parts. it was mid way though a ca18det conversion when i snapped it up as i said she was had a ca18det and rb20 gearbox in it before i got it so was left with cut tunnel :S first thing was to do is weld a tunnel in so after hours with the welder the whole was filled, i planed to put a 4k in so next i fitted a…

Hey guys, I am new here, have recently bought this 1972 Corona RT81. Straight with minimal rust, looking to do some mods such as suspension, brake upgrade (to disks), 4agze and so on. First thing I noticed when I bought it was the clutch pedal went to the floor, had to pump it a few time to get it to work. Dale
