  1. Hi, Still hoping someone can sort this out for me. Only ever had 1 email address, don't want another just for Rollaclub. I PM'd Irokin ages ago but no reply. Also feel like a prick not replying to PM's if I'm going to sell stuff in the sales section.
  2. Should be fun. You making up new a new hardline for fuel delivery to fuel rail?
  3. Ill try changing my email and If that don't work Ill contact Irokin as suggested. cheers Jason
  4. Thanks for replying Here's a screenshot of my settings. can't read it properly but you'll know whats going on.
  5. As the title sais. I haven't changed my email address. I haven't changed my settings and Ive checked them. eg "for sale - car parts". If I click on for sale car parts the box in the top right corner sais "unfollow this forum". I receive no notifications for build threads I'm following or anything else. Haven't tried PMs. cheers
  6. Looks flash. Not a fan of the huge front lips but hey thats just me. With the mods sofar looks unique.
  7. Very nice car mate. Love how you said on the first page you where just going to leave it stock.
  8. Obviously hard to tell from the images but I imagine the red will look pretty flash. Wheel choice and stance will play a big part too I reckon.
  9. Can reduse the file size of the pic buy reducing it with windows paint
  10. Nice. Its alot. Rear bumpers bent and speakers in the doors. It would want to be A1 for the money. Still, it might be super clean, its hard to tell its condition from the few photos.
  11. Looks great. Always good to see another 2 door coming back to life.
  12. talk about high prices http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Corolla-K50-KE30-KE55-5-Speed-Gearbox-/261868918948?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3cf89a98a4
  13. All sounds good. There was a red one for sale out Ipswich way a couple of weeks ago, think he wanted 3k for it. Looked to be in the same condition as yours but thats just going from pics. I got a white one but its rough. Pretty much needs rebuilding. Keep the pics coming.
  14. The last 2 posts hit the nail on the head. That Corona has been for sale for some time. Price dropped heaps and its still for sale.
  15. Yeah the problem is finding one. Ive been looking for one for about a year but nothing. Ive been thinking of making a mold and casting it from aluminum. I reakon the 3D printing might be the go. Basic dimensions could be take from a standard grille badge. Anways, I'm following this build so Ill see how your final ones turn out.
  16. How strong are those badges. Interested in making ke35 sr badges? Id think youd be able to sell a few. Grille badges that is
  17. Ive got the same problem, bloody annoying. I only changed mine cause the older ones didnt look the best. They where a bitch to get in too as they don't conform to the car chassis bracket or locating pin thingy. Hopefully Toyota sells new replacements as I'm seriously thinking of putting rubber ones back in. I rarley drive mine anyway so I'm not overly concerned with wear and tear.
  18. AE101 4AFE Car was idling high at driving temp. Followed the info in this youtube clip. My cars done 400,000 plus kms so I had to replace the 2 water hoses to the throttle body aswell. Hose is 7.5mm ID.
  19. Great thread, hadnt seen it before. needs reviving. As someone stated earlier, for me the biggest thing was research which I spent a lot of time doing before I started any work. I created a corolla folder on a hard drive. Inside that I created sub folders for every section of the conversion which was practically everything except diff, shell and interior. As we all know, hardly anything simply bolts into a KE30. I over estimated what it would cost and doubled it knowing it would probably cost more then that still. Gearbox oil isnt free, nor are caliper rebuild kits. The list goes on and on. I couldnt afford the conversion so when I made the decision to go ahead, I couldnt afford to bail out. I purposly didnt keep tabs of what I spent. My car isnt half as flash as most of the cars here on RC so I don't want to know how much I spent. I can't see a cheap or budget way to do it. Who wants to pull all that shit out once its in anyway. If you think youll need bigger fuel lines, do it. Not quite happy with the geometry and throw on the clutch pedal you modified, fix it. Not trying to come off as a know all, this was my mentallity when working on my own car. The bloke that mod plated my car did so on first inspection. All I knew was I didnt want to have to get him to come back again. I put that down to research and not taking shortcuts. Conversions have been done a hundred times before and documented by blokes here with more experience then me.
  20. Yeah ive modified the front end so I need someone to 'tune' it. Theres only caster and toe. The only thing thats been done to caster is the last shop adjusted the drivers side to compensate for road slope. They over shot the mark which ive sinse corrected. I can't see how the caster isnt wrong seeing as Ive modified the front and replaced all heavilly worn bush's etc. Ill call Southside Suspension tomorrow as I work down that way.
  21. KE30. Does anyone know of a decent suspension specialist on the Southside of Brisbane? After taking it to 2 differant places for allignment, my car handles worse then it was before.
