  1. Ever looked into toyota caldinas? Awd turbo wagon goodness!
  2. I could possibly supply a k40 fork, the pivot ball and maybe even a tob carrier for you to start paying if you want? Got a coupe of spare parts k40's kicking around still. ;)
  3. That looks like a k-t bell. What engine is this to go behind?
  4. 13.7 et iirc. He never had a project thread but I know he did put a little bit in my project thread if you can be bothered trawling back about 5-6 years.
  5. Most hydro setups push the fork to the rear, whereas cables pull it to the front. Not to say it couldn't be done, you'd have to change the fork pivot or lengthen hythe cable so it can do a 180 over a pulley etc.
  6. ...yes they are! Then I'll just need a decent turbz!
  7. ....at least 25 psi lol
  8. Pretty sure both were available with either great box
  9. monday or sunday? Was out going for a ride/drive with jason sunday arvo. Semi living in hobart lately.

  11. The "landing gear noise".....that's the s/c cutting in/out yeah? Sounds great though
  12. Bring on the vids. What unit is the power in? KM?
  13. Sounds like some busted gears on the counter shaft. Take the plate off the bottom and have a look.
  14. Welcome. American? Looks like a te31 rather than a ke30!
  15. Yeah sounds like a head off job. Remove the spring and valve....if you can. Can see if its bent by rolling it in a flat surface. If the valve did hit the piston, what caused that? Timing chain jumped a tooth!?
  16. Its called flocking, you can get it from your local rare spares etc by the metre. Need about 8 metres to do a whole 30/55. Iirc I used some that was made for an old falcon or cortina as they didn't have any corolla specific stuff.
  17. Do you mean the stuff the windows slide in?
  18. Yeah, and the self adhesion on the block side is awesome.... Until you have to scrape it off at least.
  19. Have got them from toyota in Launy, a member here works in the spare parts department. You could get one from any toyota dealership, however it can be a matter of how many are left in the country at the time. Last one I bought was apparently the last one left in the country at the time. They said if it was snapped up before I bought it it could be a 6 week wait for more to come from Japan.
  20. I don't use anything but genuine toyota head gaskets now. Probably twice the price of an acl one but definately worth the extra cash.
  21. Yeah 'start' circuit is working but not the 'on' circuit.
  22. You can buy then brand new from ashdown ingram. Listed as being for a 4kj or 5kj
  23. Lol sure is. By the way he went to about 110kmh in an 80 zone on his looser fly bye he obviously wasn't happy. Had a good 1.5-2 seconds of 2nd gear spin too lol.
