  1. Thanks Reed. Actually running 14x7.5 -9 front and 14x8 -8 rears now with slip on spacers. Also extended LCA's as camber plates are maxed.
  2. Always loved these Rona's. Nice car dude!
  3. Cheers dude, glad you like it!
  4. Unfortunately yes, but hopefully that changes next year Reed! Anywho, why not more photos? Everyone likes photos. So it looks like this is how she sits as for now and the remainder of 2013. CURRENT SPECS: - chrome fender mirrors - RA23 chin lip moulded into apron - deep dish Nardi woodgrain steering wheel - T3 coilovers up front - T3 Camber plates - T3 LCA's - RA40 Tie rod ends and tubes - 3inch blocks in rear - tsurikawa for passenger - simple headunit - 14x7.5-9 ssr mk2's up front - 14x8-8 ssr riversides on rear - chrome stainless weathershields - ke35 ducktail moulded into boot lid - VDO temp gauge 2014 PLANS: - side decals - fix front bumper - smaller tyres - matching MK2 wheels for rear - lower the car a bit more - possible engine/driveline upgrade Thanks for stopping by!
  5. Definately will get around to trying some other colours soon Taz. I know that I'd like to keep it browns/oranges/golds/creams though to tie in with everything else on the car. As for the ride height, a little more of a drop couldn't hurt ;) Thanks Sznaps, if I do eventually go ahead with doing it I'd only keep it subtle in the form of a simple side design such as the stripes. I'll tinker with some other ideas in coming weeks.
  6. this is one tough little hatch.
  7. Thank you gents. Classic Japan had me overwhelmed with inspiration. It really made me want to actually devote proper amounts of time and effort into the corolla in the future - make it a better car. After cruising to and from the event too with some of the other rolla guys it really inspired me to eventually upgrade the performance of the old girl. I couldn't Keep up and it just lacked the fun that they seemed to be having. That being said, I was feeling silly and overly enthusiastic so I quickly photoshopped a couple of photos with mock up livery. The sensible side stripes are something I'd definately consider doing in the future. The full war paint mock up was merely for a laugh, though with some work I think could look pretty cool. Opinions on the subtle side stripes?
  8. Thanks Mark. I haven't really taken any photos of the spoiler yet, but I think there's a couple others have taken I can find. Here's a couple from my s13 car club BBQ on Saturday. Naturally, having my Nissan in pieces meant I had to be sacrilege and bring the Toyota haha. Hopefully some more photos of the 'Rolla pop up this week from Classic Japan's adventures on Sunday. Hiding amongst the masses... I really need to lower it more... Was an awesome day with so many cool cars and it was great to catch up with some old and new faces. If anyone has flicks of my little daily can you post them up? Thanks heaps!
  9. Appreciate the kind words guys.
  10. Mustard colour 4door ke30 on the monash this morning, outbound at 7:30ish near Jacksons road. Seen you a few times now - get off my monash!
  11. Hey guys. Unfortunately life has called for a change, so I am forced to sell my beloved Nissan Silvia project car. I've had the s13 as a dedicated project for the past 4 years and have taken my time with every aspect of it. Whilst still incomplete, no stone has been left unturned and once finished - would be hands down one of the best/cleanest examples of a s13 in the country. As stated, the car has been a project - whilst rolling, it is currently not drivable [yet wouldn't require much work to get it so] For the car to be drivable, the following would need to be done: - remainder of front brakes installed - remainder of fuel // cooling setup installed - rewire the main harness - new fluids throughout and alignment - put back some of the interior The car has remained registered for the past 4 years, despite not being driven. No shortcuts have been taken whatsoever and only the best parts purchased [with reciepts pushing 30grand] Please refer to my build thread on Nissan Silvia. I am looking at moving the entire project as a whole, or mostly a whole - instead of parting out. Depending on the price, certain things can either come or not come with the package/bundle. This car is most likely aimed towards those looking at an all round track car // clean and tough streeter. It will have the ability to perform well in either hill climbs, drift or circuit etc. Pretty much just needs a paintjob and you're laughing. I know E.O.I aren't allowed on here or offers, so I guess I'll put this up for a starting grade. Obviously being that if someone is keen, they may not want certain things, so the price will differ in discussion. For the sake of it; let's say $15,000. Mind you the wheels are worth $3500 alone... Please contact Rone/Josh by: M: 0466 210 560 E: [email protected] or PM me on here. Located in Melbourne. THANKS
  12. SO.DAMN.GOOD.
  13. Thanks mate!
  14. Video clip editing is under way, hopefully be done in a week or so. Definately won't be anything depicting awe-inspiring cinematography that's for sure, but keen to see end result once completed. Here's another still from the shoot. thanks
  15. tomorrow night! see you for a greasy kebab
  16. Looks amazing. Trade you my corolla? Haha
  17. Hello all. Filming happened all last night. I'm exhausted. Editing to be done over next week or so, nothing too fancy by any means. Just a little promo clip of it really. Here's a still from the shoot. I'll keep ya posted with progression...
  18. Let's do this again soon peoples.
  19. Cheers Jesse. Boot spoiler is all done, I slapped some 5mm spacers on the rear to get it sitting that bit more even all round. Ideally I'd like to step down to a 50profile tyre and lower the car more accordingly, but it's pushing impractical now so I'll probably just leave it and enjoy it for how it is. Planning a short video of it that I'll start filming with a friend next week, so hopefully new photos and footage soon. :)
  20. this makes me happy in the pants Neil. let's rock out at Classic Japan. btw I've got a spare pair of ke30 LCAs you can borrow if needed for extended track. just needs new balljoints.
  21. Global Warming is yet another Globalist scare tactic - it doesn't exist.
  22. So much cool. Love it dude.
  23. Nice car mate, was cool meeting you last Thursday. Always bargains to be had on YAJ, i scored my 14x7.5-6 mk2s for 300$ and they were in good nick. Hit up Streeter and you're set.
  24. Cheers bud. Spoiler arrived last week, car has gone to panel shop to get sorted this week, fingers crossed it comes out nicely. Out and about today. More soon.
