I was just considering the quality of the replys on this post compared to what you would get on a facebook post. Go Rolla club forum. By the way, you can use regular or 95 ULP. No need for 98 octane

Most electronic pumps are pusher pumps, not puller pumps like a mechanical one. You may want to consider relocating your pump next to the fuel tank

Genuine part number for the bolt is 90105-12050 for a 3K. The 2T has the same partnumber, as does the AE71 TE72, various hiaces, hilux's etc so should be easy enough to get one. On Amayama they come up at $USD 2.96 each genuine plus post.

You just have to be super careful, because if you get it slightly off centre, it can slip. Especially off the diff. With the crossmember you can jam the jack in the centre hole. Be be super careful, and keep your head, and so forth well away from under the car. You wouldn't believe how quickly the car can go from being in the air, to not in the air.......

I will happily jack it under the chassis rail, but only with an off cut of merbau in between. I use a piece 5 - 6 inches long to spread the load. It has to be quality hardwood so it doesn't collapse on you.

I suspect if you do this you will massively overfuel it

Accelerating normally? Go and buy yourself another vacuum gauge -

You are going to have to post pictures of what you need, as these are the very items that vary from market to market.

Sorry to hear, hopefully you didn't hurt yourself too badly. Don't want to keep banging on a theme, but I've had a few close calls in the last couple of years with momentary losses of concentration I'm convinced is an age thing. In one of them I was incredibly fortunate not to lose a hand. But you have a few years to go before you catch me. You reflect on it immediately after, and can't understand how you ever let it happen. And I'm no idiot. With luck you should be able to pickup a good door somewhere, and the payout is a bonus.

Welcome Gian To have any chance of answering your question, you need to let us know the model (AE9x? - look at the build plate on the bulkhead) engine type, where it came from etc. Remember there have been vast numbers of corolla's made, with innumerable variations worldwide. And as always, photos are invaluable.

Wouldn't bother changing the jets. The problem likely lies in the passage ways inside. After you dismantle everything, make sure you blow through all of these with compressed air, even a few forceful efforts from a bicycle pump then a good washout. Be very gentle if using tools as the brass components are easily damaged. Don't stick any wire anywhere trying to clear imaginary blockages.

http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_197408_TOYOTA_COROLLA_KE30R-CD_1105.html Message me with your email address if you want to be able to see the diagrams I've also got a parts book which I cross checked it to. There of course is always the possibility that the part number has been superceded, but if you order it at Toyota or Amayama they will advise you. You could try a bolt place also as you have the specs for the bolt above also, but if available from Toyota, why bother. Just because it comes up with a listing on Amayama doesn't guarantee availability. I ordered about 16 parts last week which showed up when I put in a query, 4 of them turned out to be unavailable when I formally ordered. Be aware if you put in an order to Amayama for the part showing in Australia, and it turns out to be unavailable, they don't check availability for the part also showing in UAE or Japan. You need to put in another order separately for those locations.

Air filters and oil filters are something I only ever buy genuine, except for the K & N in my AE86 which has an unusual filter box

Owned big time. Everyone is right of course, it should be very light. But in the days where everything has power steering and you can swing lock to lock at standstill with one finger, a KE70 probably does feel like hard work. I can assure you it wasn't always so, as iI remember with horror test driving a first gen front wheel drive Ford Laser. If you have stupidly wide tyres, its your own fault. I have 185's on my AE86 and would never ever go wider. The first time I drove it round the block a few times, it went straight back in the shed to pull the shorter power steering arms off and return the manual steering arms. As I'm getting older, I am finding it harder work at maneuvering out of the shed speed, and could see myself looking at electric steering options across the fleet. If you're a youngen, put sensible tyres on (it will handle better anyway), make sure your balljoints, tierods etc are in good nick and get a front end alignment.

The door trim carefully prise up a bit at a time from the window side

An aspect ratio of 80 I would have thought was getting into truck tyre ranges? A pretty small truck I grant you, but still

Weren't GEM engines a rebuilt/ replacement crowd?

I always run 2 psi harder in the front. Typically 32 / 30 or 30 / 28. Always have done in over 30 years of driving whether its a TA22 with performance yokohama tyres, or the xtrail with whatever the round black things are. And you're right, tyre construction and differences in sizing when compared to 1972 render original specs meaningless. The tyre needs to be able to flex in the sidewall, but I think even manufacturer guidelines were arbitrary at best. Under inflation or over inflation will result in premature uneven wear. At my usual settings I've always felt I had a good balance of road holding, comfort and good tyre life. Track days of course are a different matter........

Is there a cold start injector setup that is functioning at every turn of the key and causing flooding?

Actual TRD performance parts are pretty difficult to get a hold of for 80's models. The focus is current models, and then things like stickers, gear knobs and horn pushes Yahoo Japan is a good place to find some stuff. But for your bushes, just get whatever. Spend a bit of time learning how to install, lubricate and how and how not to torque them up.
