also a standard ke30-55 has more standard lock than an 86, and a lot more than a 70 or 71 I'm not sure what flat out was trying to say but i know its easier to hold a 30-55 at a larger angle, I'm not sure about the 20 series though

i think its a bit harsh that you guys are saying they should never drive, having had my licence disqualified for 15months ive felt both sides of it, it changes your life, you lose your independance and, i know how hard it is trying to work, go to uni and even build a car without my licence, before all you guys say they should never drive think about what happens and i think its actually a good idea teaching learners because ive seen a hell of a lot of mates and been in the car with them crash because they do not know how to control a vehicle, good on them i hope they get their licences, and remember half the kids here don't have their licences either

so by using this k mildport head on my 5k with ge pistons it will give me a higher compression than using a 3k smallport?

also depends on the width and tyre size you will use and what suspension you have in it

see thats weird my cousin has a head off a 5k motor that has 81 on it, and you have one off a 4k with 81...hm...is a k mildport head rare?

hm I'm slightly confuse as to which head to use on my motor now, its got a stage 5 cam, 4age pistons, not sure which types, shaved block, quad throttle bodies, bottom end all balanced, it used to be ke25 racers 5k, and he used a 3k head on it, to get a comp ratio of 14.5:1, when i got it it came with a 5k head, i want to build it to the same specs but now i have been offered a bigport head as well as a 3k head and unsure which to use, both will be shaved and ported aswell ok i just took a look at the head difference topic and found out that it is not actually a 5k head i have but a mildport k head :)

hahaha yea all the old school guys want the fattest! if you want a nice sized tyre go 195 50, for a more stretchced look go 185 50, not sure how hard it is to find that rubber though

hey guys when using an s series diff in a 71 is it neccesary to use the 86 handbrake cables as well? my brother is currently using his stock ones and they do not spin freely

hey mate which handbrake cables did you use when using the s series diff in the 70? my brothers 71 is using the stock cables with s series and they are really tight when put on properly
