  1. hey guys i was wondering if anyone has sourced braided brake lines for their 55 before, as I'm looking to upgrade the fronts while everything is out
  2. how is you insert being held in, in that pic it looks like the insert is not bolted into the strut tube
  3. yea i rekon bridgestone g3s are the way to go
  4. hey guys apparently the previous owner who had my motor blew 2 hgs while using a 3k head on the 5k motor, this is the ipra race motor with quads, its now running a 5k head and was wondering whats the best headgasket to use
  5. hehe good idea mate, i love hearing people say that, if i was to redo my suspension in the front now i would be goin with s13 stuff you should consider that
  6. hm yea if u you want a car that will be awsome on the track aswell, do the rotor, if u just want to do helis everywhere go v6
  7. no way the 2000gt is a piece of history
  8. yea you would be surprised how many you can use, you could take a look at ke30-55 tie rods aswell
  9. thats so awsome i love that philosophy stuff
  10. my god i love those, what an ultimate car
  11. groundcontrol, same as the ones on my 55, although mine are on a different strut, what is that silver large shaft with the red bit on top in the 1st pic? its inside the spring and strut tube
  12. AE70 actually thats what i meant, they arent as much of an angle as ke55 shocks which have more lean in them...
  13. yesss get some superlites on it! ultimate uk look
  14. yea this happened to my 55 corolla once, easily fixed by an auto elec
  15. yea but the suspension is different between the two, the ke55 has its shocks at an angle which is not the best as there is a side load against the shocks which isnt what they were really designed for, thats y when the ke70 came out they have a more vertical shock
  16. see i don't want all the extra unsprun weight, i want to get it on the track and see how it goes
  17. Yes a set of coilovers will fit into an ae71, but its best to use the 71 strut tops, and its neccesary to use ra40 or 86 steering arms Yes a set of rear coilovers will fit but you have to take into account that strenghtening will be needed around the shock top as its not engineered to have all the suspension force in one small area Yes a front strut brace will fit onto a 70 or 71 and a rear one will not
  18. lol now just start pulling it out :P :hmm:
  19. yea bring it over, one more for us to buy later on in life lol
  20. you wouldnt know what car the konis came out of would you? i have some ae71 shocks lying around that i will try in the back of my 55, if they fit then i will probably go with the sierra shock option
  21. ya i could tell, i think mines going to need some panel beating! annoyinggg
  22. what car interior?
  23. yeaa don't get a bucket seat those seats are awsome how they are
