I'm a V8 mopar ( Chrysler ) man , but have a 83 ae 71 corolla as my work car . i really love mashing the pedal @ every set of lights . mines a 3 speed auto that shifts real hard & was told it has towing gears from the factory :) . it has a 4ac engine that was rebuilt about 3-4 years ago with new .040+ acl pistons & had a light lick on the ports , & ele dizzy ( that I'm having problems with ) other than that it is stock . i was thinking about regrinding the cam & getting some extractors & getting a new dizzy . & maybe getting the torque converter modified to stall around 2500 rpm . what are your thoughts & any rec…

this is a msg to the low life dogs that came to my place to buy some parts off me from the for sale section, unless you didn't read the whole for sale post, the brand new camera that you or one of your mates pocketed out from my shed when picking up parts wasn't on the list. its things like this that give the club a bad name and its (_ _ _TS) like you that have taken the trust out of the club. Ive got absolutely no faith that i will get my camera back. so unless you know me and know what stuff ive got i wont be selling parts unless you come around with only 1 other person. :D :| :bash:

G'day everyone, Just introducing myself. I have owned a KE55 in the past as a bush basher, 330,000kms and still started after running no radiator for over an hour. After the fun I had in that, I decided I needed moar. Ultimately I'll be looking for a KE70 flat front to set up for offroad use, track days and if I can get a wagon or panel van, I'll be doing SPL competitions in it too. I'd like to try some tarmac drifting too. So what is the worst engine you can remember either owning or seeing? I meen, there a few lemons out there, so lets hear it. Mabye it was unreliable? or mabye it was just slow? I'm gonna kick this off by listing the 'Starfire engine'. They were found in early model Commodores, Coronas and verious other vehicles, I just bought a corona with a Starfire engine (more like a startfire!). Its by far the slowest smokiest peice of dog shit ive ever driven, and it has a timing chain rattle that would give off the impression that its had a hand full of washers dropped down each bore. Hey people, just wanted to ask some law-related questions. Once you have been to court and have been given your decision (I got a two year suspension), how long do I have till I can appeal my case? How do I go about appealing? Also, with the NSW rule saying that you can have only one passenger in the vehicle after 11 pm for a P1 driver, I heard that you can have more people in the car so long as they are 21 and over. So if you are a P1 driver, and have one 18 year old and three 21 year olds, you cannot be fined due to the curfew. Is this true? Hope to have these answered soon, thanks everyone! :y:
