First of all id like to introduce myself, I'm Robert Davies, I'm 17 in 2 weeks and about 3 months ago i bought myself a 1983 Late model Ke70. It needed a good clean up and a good tune so i ended up scoring it for $500. I decided it being my first car, i should probly make it look good for its age. i don't have any before pics of the car unfortunetly :drgrim: The previous owner was a retired auto electrician and i must admit he wasnt very good. here is a picture of the dash and his wiring up custom guages. i decided i should also paint it and probably do it up for future racing possibly a track car. This is my new beast. 1974 corolla, 1 owner, all books, no rust, dead straight, 3k engine. Picked up for $1500. I have plans to put simmons rims on her but am needing some input to what needs to be done to get a 4age into it. Also what gearbox and what brake and suspension upgrade would be best for a track/road car. Help would be apreciated, or even links to posts. I have money to play around and want to do things right the first time round. .

Hi corolla people. I`m gonna introduce my project. It`s a Corolla Ke26 Wagon from 1971 and it`s one of very few still allive here in Norway. Bought it this winter and the wagon is in stock condition with no uppgrades of any kind. The powerplant is the "angry" 3k engine but it`s running nice to be that old. It have been repainted for some years ago with various results. My first task is to get it free from rust and do a major service on the suspension and brakes. hey everyone i'm new to the forum this is my second AE82 but this one that i have just acquired is not stock like the first. it has a 4agze and lsd gearbox out of a AE101 levin and i believe AE92 disc brakes, it also has had a light blue respray that has a purple tint in the light. the interior has been re-trimmed in blue and white and it has gt gauges. after driving it i just had to have it, its such a little rocket and the engine noise is second to none. it has stock Toyota alloys and standard tires that light up at any hint of throttle its a joy to drive. here are some pics... thanks for checking it out

Well as you may have known my Ford got written off in a rear ender. I have since got my insurance money and today I picked up the new beast. a S3 R31 GX. Outside she's an absolute minta, the interior has 2 burn holes in the seats and the dash could use some vynal paint. Under the hood I have the original RB30 with 189,000k's and a auto trans. Mods include, Extractors, Upgraded cam, Rims, Stereo, Exhaust, King springs etc. I picked her up for 2500 as the guy who was selling it was desperate to sell due to moving to dubai for a new job. Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while now that i should create a ride thread for my car so here it is! a few of you may already know the car and have seen it around. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac. Has XT130 LCAs and reset leaves lowered 3 inches overall. Thankfully the wagon is no longer my daily, managed to pick up a running SV11 camry for FREE! Hi all, Well after completely blowing the budget on 67Rolla (over $13K...and still going) I've got myself a KE20 with some front end damage that I hope to have on the road for less than $1k. The car cost me $400 without a motor (thanks Chris :jamie: ), but just picked up a 3k for $150 (thanks Callum :lol: ). So budget is looking good so far. I'll be putting 13" rims on her as 12" tires cost a fortune. So $260 for new tires. The car came with all the bits to put the front end back together. Well i've had her for just over a month now. Interierours pretty clean for its age. Few small cracks here and there in interiour. So far myself and mates have concentrated on removing rust and tiding it up a bit when we've got free time. Bit of background on car 1982 (month younger then me) CS ke70. White with blue interiour. CAR. 1983 ae71 panel van not yet completed MOTOR. 4ac, head work done, no exsaust, messy look wireing {latest thing out of japan} and a performange batery that falls over if you go to fast. oh and a gear box that jams in 4th. Hi all. Just bought this 1974 ke20 pretty much stock apart from the cd player and amp in the boot . Eventually would like to put a bigger motor (maybe 4a ge motor ), 5 speed gear box and lock the diff. As is these are fun little cars to drive . cheers john

Well, I started this project a little while ago after picking up a rust-free shell from Trendact. Bloody cheap too. It had NO interior except the dash and steering wheel and door trims. My first plan was to throw a 4age at it. But finances stood in the way of that. Then I was going to freshwn up the 4k (needed a rebuild anyway). But then I found a nice 5k to wack in it. I've been told that it's had a stage 2 cam thrown in, and some head work done. I've already change the box to a k50. I'm going to make a complete custom boot install. And of course a respray. Hey, just got this AE71 wagon for $250 got it for the 4ac that will go into the other ae71 wagon (my mothers) so be left with a AE71 manual wagon needing a motor smile.gif body is ok bit of rust in usual spots - bonnet, behind wheel arches in the back, and little bit in the door and around the windows- nothing major, interior is all there window support on RHR is f@$ked usual rusting out it seems. so motor will come out go into the other wagon then I'm left with a wagon to play with it seems smile.gif time for a 4age i say. the twins !

Hi guys, just showing off my KE17... I've had it for about 8 months now, driving it on and off and fixing issues as they come up. I've got money saved up to do a restoration/mods... its just a matter of time. There are very few of these things up in the northern hemisphere, VERY hard to find parts. As it sits now it has 90k miles on it, the body is great with a paint job that looks perfect from 10 feet and just a couple little bubbles of rust, but mechanically its a bit tired.
