So I have finally started on the restoration project for an 1974 Corolla ke26 wagon. He is affectionately called Kevin. Anyone please feel free to ask questions and I'll try to answer then as best I can. But I have started stripping the basic panels from the car. They have been acid dipped and coated in kephos to keep the rust at bay for now.

Story time! This is my 1988 Toyota Corolla SR5 AE95 4WD. I went on the hunt for one of these in July 2021. Looked for about 6 months and only found 3 in that time. 2 were full of rust which I wasn't interested in taking on. This one popped up with a issue where it wouldn't go into gear. (manual) Owner wasn't sure if it was a gearbox or clutch issue. The car had a lot of work done by the previous owner so I decided to jump on it. Ended up paying $1400aud site unseen as the car was 700km away from me. Paid another 700 to get the car to me. Car arrived in my possession October 2nd 2021. Overall very happy with the purchase! So I sold my AE71 last night and had already placed a deposit on my new addition, a little yellow KE11. The KE11 will be used as a cruiser/daily through this Summer whilst I look patiently for another daily. I didn’t want to rush out and buy a crap daily that I would regret buying so this thing should tide me over for a bit. The KE still has the 3K which appears to be in really good condition, and overall this car is a very tidy unit. The KE will then be hidden away for a while during the colder months and brought out again late next year when the weather is good again. hey all just shipped the levin off to brisbane so it was time to pick up my new project i found a 82 flat front in beige, 1 owner, 100,000km with all books and service history up to date its a 4spd SE with aircon drive like new, with new tyres, smooth gear box and the lot. its got a few TINY rust spots on it but thats about a week away from being removed. the paint is pretty much immaculate all over, as i found tucked away in the books that this was done with paint protection back in its day. ... um not sure what plans i have for it as yet, but starting small and doing it properly. Hey guys i picked up this sweet ke55 coupe. Been out of rego for 2 years though :yes: But not much needed to be back on the road. I sold my rotary (in my display pic), as rotary engines just piss me off ;) Its got a 5k with extractors, 2.5 inch piping with dump pipe. Its got some type of sport carby instead of the standard. Does have the factory 5spd. It does start how ever battery is dead! Has the cleanest body i have ever seen in a while for a old car, apart from tiny amount of rust above my rear right tail light. I've had it since it was about 8 months old, and now I have time I want to restore it to original condition. A little bit on the history :- The car has a genuine 68,000 miles on the clock. It was on blocks in my garage for well over 20 years, and Woz and his brother pulled it out, fitted new coil and plugs, and she fired up, running on 20 year old petrol!!! hey I'm new here i am new to toyota as i have been mostly working with old alfa Romeo's particularly getting a few ready for events i have owned a ta22 and reluctantly had to let it go now i have a ae95 me and my mate are trying to find out if we can do a full change with a 33 boxer motor he has a turbo one out the back of his place would it be possible and what work would i have to mod the drive train this engine has been tested to be 350 hp plus cheers if i can do this i recon i would have to have a really fast toyota/alfa mongrel.

Before that, i just bought this KE70 from my uncle friend in Pahang, Malaysia with MYR2,000 and got some rusty. First of all, i sent this car to my friend paint and bodywork shop to start my project. During this project, some parts was arrived from Johore, Malaysia such as complete DX Chrome bumpers, new headlamp, tail lamp and some of exterior parts. The project begins. Our Story. A couple of week back I purchased this T18 for a few hundred dollars. Pulled her from a shed where she has been hibernating for the past 2-3 years. Gave her some fuel, fitted a battery and away she went first crank(electric fuel pumps are handy) into gear and off she went with no hassles. As the photo atest she is no "Belle of the Ball". I am hoping to pull off a "Cinderella" type deal. As you can see she is a granny spec T18, L3TC/T50. On completion it will esentially still be granny spec as this car is for my kids not me. OK, so I just got this home from Hobart, was my brother's, Mum decided it would be better for it to be used rather than rust away to nothing in their backyard, so she gave it to me...... It's a 1981 G10 Daihatsu Charade, 1.3 liter 3 cylinder 5 speed 4 door hatch, very original, minor rust on passenger door front and rear, sizable dent in rear passenger door due to my brother smacking his fence a short while after buying it, easy enough to fix..... hey guys, I'm kinda new to this forums thing but it seems like alot of you know your stuff when it comes to rollas so here i am i am in the process of building myself a unique rolla ride originally i was looking at the usual 4ag options (I'm a toyota purist) :jamie: but it looks like i am getting my hands on a 3t-gteu motor! twinspark motor! i was really excited when a mate said he could get me one reckon this is a good idea??? i have read a bit about the motors and the practicality of them and this is gonna be a dirt cheap option compared to the 4ag line up but yeah, an advice or ideas would be awesome at this point :bash:

Hi all, saw this on ebay 30 minutes after the auction started and after a very quick call to the seller I hit the “buy it now” button and she was mine. She’s a 1970 KE17 Sprinter, owned by only two owners for the last 20 years. In the 7 years the most recent previous owner had it it’s been almost completely restored, with a bare metal respray and completely retrimmed interior. It has KE20 disc brake front end and KE20 full height seats which have be re-upholstered to suit the rest of the interior. I've been the owner of this 1986 CSX Seca for over 7 years now and it's seen a lot of great days and some pretty ordinary days. Bought it for $1800 and have been tinkering with it ever since. Hi Guys, I've been loving the RollaClub community and advice from memebers and the forums. I thought its about time I post some pics of my KE20 project. The project started in 2003 when I removed the 3k, rebuilt a 4k and slapped it in. Also locked the diff and started the body work. For some reason in about 2005 life got to busy and didn't have much time for the beast, so it got moved into storage. 4 years later, missing the urge to go sideways now driving everyday lancer wagon, :dance: the corolla pasion has sprung back into gear and the car has come out of storage. :S

This 1980 ke55 which belonged to a good mate of mine that he wanted to do up but never got the chance. Bought it on Saturday. It's a 4k with 5 speed. hey everyone. just thought i'd finally share that i have another ke36 now. a while ago i bought seabiscuits ke36 of him, just haven't bothered to upload anything onto here about it yet as the wagz is still in canberra. and i now live back in wodonga 4 hours away from canberra. so the car is currently staying at my cousins place in canberra and he is doing all the rust repairs for me and spraying the car. which is good as i can't bring the car down here untill i get my license back, which isnt for about another year and a half ;) anyways, just to make sure that i don't lose interest in it i thought i better post up on here about it, here's a link to seabiscuits thread …

i brought the car for $200 an it was licensed but had a blown head gasket. i resprayed in myself and did all the work myself andall up it cost $500 an its running like a dream. please comment and tell me what u think :2thumbs:
