Bought this car off a mate for $1500, Its got a rebuilt 4age motor just put in.. Interior is in pretty good nick... Its gonna be standard for a bit but there was quite a list of things to do on the car... Lets see where to start hehe - Both Front window winder mechanisms were stuffed, so i needed a set from the wrecker - Top part of the radiator support had a small amount of damage, the old one has been removed and new one is on now. -Interior needs a good clean -Fuel needs to be drained, its been sitting for a while -Needed a new bonnet (got that now) -Few interior panels needed to be sprayed as they started to fade(with VHT DYE) -Needed an oil…

I have 4 sponsors Auto Spares, Auto Hush Mufflers, Market St tyres and Mechanical and R & J Batteries. Dad does most of the work too it. I don't have any pics of the engine only the outside of it :)

Well, I recently got a job that required me to do 150+km's a day in peak hour traffic, and as I only have a very insane Commodore (It doesn't like traffic) and a motorbike (Winter+Peak Hour+Rain+Bike=Dead) I decided to find myself a cheap daily. My very first car (5 years ago) was a 4 speed manual brown KE70. Reliable as hell, did terrible things to it, yet it just wouldn't die. So, for a daily, I started looking at KE70 manuals. I ended up finding this (very first car I looked at actually) It's a baby blue colour 4K-C 1.3L 5 speed KE70 wagon. Full log books and service history (actually filled out!) from when it was new, one previous owner to me. Had rego until Aug…

Hey I'm new here so I thought I'd show off my KE50 seeing as there's only one other one on the entire forum. They're definitely a rarity but chicks dig 'em and that's all that matters. Mine's a 77 model. Came with the 1166cc engine which was way too slow for my Dad when he owned it (132kph on-the-mat ) so he shoehorned in a water injected, T04 Rotomaster turbocharger way back in '79 for Mini Cooper S beating performance & 172kph max. (40kph increase on standard!!)T03 would've been a better match but they weren't round then. For extra grunt then came the switch for the big cubes 1290cc. (Top speed now 182kph) Its got Aunger Wheels, a JVC MP3 player and a Momo wheel (T…

Hey Guys thought id introduce myself. Names Julian and just got the keys to my first car, a 79 ke55 coupe. Love it to bits. Its manuel with 4k which lacks a bit of grunt, but besides that its an amazing car. besides a bit of hail damage, which is getting fixed, the car has done a genuine 60xxxkms from new and had one lady owner, so you no its clean. I don't want to do much cosmetically as its the classic shape that i love, however i have purchased some rad rims and some fender mirrors to put on at some stage. i would like to do an engine coversion at aome stage, probably 4agze at this stage, but for now its just fine heres a pic of my car. cheers guys :)

couldnt help myself sold my ca18 ke30 and not even two weeks later found this and so the story begins. Bought it as a crahed car that looks like was owned by and elderly lady has about 110'000kms. Plans are either 3rz or 1jz depends which comes up for the right price wont be going anything to serious as was intended as a daily driver so maybe something around 300-350rwhp hopefully reliable. Diff is a early hilux 2wd the shortest or them which is only slightly longer than the standard corolla one so will fit without cutting, just had to move the spring mounts out 20mm each side. The diff i got came with 4.8 diff gears so if anyone has something around 3.7-4.1 ratio may b…

Hi all, I'm a long time lurker short time member. I got addicted to Corollas over 10 years ago when a mate at Uni had a green KE10 with a 4K in it. We once lapped it around Mt Panorama to charge it after I helped him out with a jumpstart. It was a complete hoot and I've never forgotten it - Tommo, if you're reading this, hope you've still got her! Anyway, not quite a KE10 but I've gone and picked up a KE20. She was lurking on the other side of town, perched up on old gas tanks at the metal recyclers. They had picked it up at a deceased estate and it was in very sorry condition - filthy both inside and out, perished rims and tyres, starting to rust on the bottom …

So i just recently got heavily into cars after buying this 81 KE70 from a work mate, only got 183,000km on it, runs well and I'm keen to keep modifting it heavily. It is pretty heavily molested but that the way i like it and I'm planning on chucking a 13B in there then later puting a custom gt35r on. This is a lazy post It got rust in places and dented panels and scratches and ʞ©$ɟed up paint but thats what i want, shit box rust bucket that flies.

I have owned a few Corollas and have visited this site over the last 18months. My first car was a Toyota Corolla Ke30 4door, the red-orange colour and was bought in early 2006 off my sister. Had a few mods done to it but its journey came to an end a week after i got my P’s. Yeah, the Macca’s hedge was not as welcoming as first thought, if i could have only spun 5 metres more so it was the driveway, but maybe not. Had a nice 3k in it that seemed absolutely unbreakable.

Hi People Just bought a 94 Seca RV AE102 totally stock, the reason that I named it Shakey is because it needs new engine mounts, so when you change gear you hear the engine go back and forth. Also it has the wrong clutch in it and when I'm pressing the clutch it shakes up and down. And also the stock AE102 suspension is shitty, so that's how I got Shakey So after the clutch and engine mounts are done, I can start modifying this beast. The Plans: - do the exhaust - find some corolla sportivo rims for it - do the suspension and lower it an inch or 2 - customize exterior, headlights, grill, mirrors - customize the interior - do a little sound …

hi all, i have been on this site for a while now. I picked up this 1971 ke25 which was a bit of a mess. it was a stolen and recovery vehicle, which the owner no longer wanted to keep. She sold it to me around 4yrs ago. I have been working on it in my spare time, trying to find all the rare bits that i needed to replace. It was a toyoglide when i got it, but the glide in it was gone. I converted it myself to a 5spd manual. I have completed all the mechanical work on this car myself, and i mean myself. No one was even around to give me a hand to lift or hold anything. interior is near excellent condition. I have replaced all the bushes , ball joints , ti…

It's my turn for show and tell, so here goes... 1982 'flat front' KE70 Standard 4K engine, all gaskets and hoses replaced; mild cam; oil changed; brakes remachined and so on... Singin' like a biiiird. As stated, absolutely no rust on the thing anywhere. Bought it off a panel beater who straightened the body up and painted it this lovely blue (NQX blue to be specific). Immaculate job the guy's done, by far one of the car's greatest qualities. Standard height springs; standard 13" steelies without hub caps, spray painted a dodgey glossy black, overshadowed however by the stainless wheel trims I picked up at Autobarn for $25 a piece. New radiator, battery and …
