I bought this about a month ago, with 57k on it, full granny spec, for $600 :-) and I lowered it, sprayed the rims black, all in a mornings work!

I'm working on my dash. I wanted some thing LIKE this just were the small gages are. this is what i had and wanted the gages to face me more eg on an angle. so what I'm going to do is cut some pool pipe 560mm that the gages fit very sung in. wile i was going to do this i thought i would fix my first cup i made. so i cut the pipe at an angle (i just guessed the angle i needed) and all 3 in there started glassing.. i just put a little hot glue to hold the cups.. and i decided that the gages should be spreed out more rather than bunched up. i added the plastic i cut off the end to the middle bits to make it stronger. and made shore the gages lo…

Well after looking at some of the other projects on the site. I decided it was time to post up some piccies of the project I am about to undertake. This started it's life with my Wifes next door neighbours, they bought her new and literally drove it about 3 times a week. We got hold of it back in 1999 with an original 48,000klms on the clock but as it was used by two elderly folk, it had a few dents here and there. It was originally Dark Green / Teal colour. We had her resprayed and straightened in 2000 and that is how you see it now. in 2007 it was retired to the shed after massive gearbox and brake failure. Hi all, Well after completely blowing the budget on 67Rolla (over $13K...and still going) I've got myself a KE20 with some front end damage that I hope to have on the road for less than $1k. The car cost me $400 without a motor (thanks Chris :jamie: ), but just picked up a 3k for $150 (thanks Callum :lol: ). So budget is looking good so far. I'll be putting 13" rims on her as 12" tires cost a fortune. So $260 for new tires. The car came with all the bits to put the front end back together. Alright guys so since gettin my rolla back after some inconsiderate people stole it and thrashed it i have been debating to keep it or not... it has a bit of damage and ill try and get some pics up a bit later on tonight. I'm guna need a new front bumper, possibly a new bonnet. there is also a hole in the guard behind the rear left wheel from when it blew. is it possible to replace the panel or will it require a fibreglass/cut & weld job?? any other ideas while I'm at it?? and it may take a while cos I'm a bit strapped for cash atm, hence y I'm contemplating sellin it. cheers guys

Hello guys and gals Very new to the rolla scene, Just picked this baby up today. Its a 1977 ke36 van with a 3T 1800cc engine with Carmira fuel injection headers 2 inch exhaust 5spd box ta22 rear axle LSD ta22 front brakes. Body is in fair condition for its age. Also came with a turbo set up but not interested in it. As I have a 3TC fuel injected turbo engine sitting in my garage that I will put in for a bit of fun. so this is my 4door 1969 ke10. I'm not sure weither to tidy it up or get rid of it. its real straight and has not rust, has been panelled and primed, just needs a rub back and a top coat really. but whats makes me unsure is the second two photos.. the last owner has modified the gearbox/driveshaft tunnel, or should i say made it massive. I'm not sure they have done it but they have. it doesnt really effect the vehicle that much but the things i don't like about it are... 1) means the original back seat wont fit properly unless i get that part changed back 2) less foot room front and back 3) takes away from the original-ness of the car 4) its just stupidly…

well thought id let you all know whats put a halt to my starlet project..... on stands bought for a massive $400 running gear was removed to go into a morrie minor. hence its missing some major and some weird components. mmmboost sold me a 4k, already had a k50 lying around, and scrounged an S leaf housing and a complete ae85 diff so mix and match with. WDE_BDY found the correct (i hope!) drive shaft at a wreckers so that should arrive next week. hey all. i found an awesome bargain the other day, an offer to good to pass up. i found a 1967 rt40 corona, 93000 miles, one owner, all original and running... $500 its unlicenced and there are a few little dents and some rust at the front but nothing huge. I'm gona slowly restore it. anyway heres some piks, i'll get more detailed ones when the car gets to my house.

I picked up this baby for $1200. its got great torque @4000rpm - 7500rpm but it needs something done to it so I can take off with the power it has at the higher revs. I just replaced the lhf hud and it handles like a dream now, its also just had a clutch in the last year, the gearbox doesnt go into 2nd if I'm doing over 50kph for some reason and its annoying because it does over 90kph in 2nd before its redlines anyone have a suggestion? I'm just a newb when it comes to talking about cars but I'm trying to learn. Well i have had this AE71 Since january 2006 and not alot has happened with it. It was bought for me to use in motorkhana's and khanacross's. Bought it with a rooted diff and a complete auto ae71 with it for the use of its diff. So in the time i have had them i have...Changed diffs over, stripped the parts car for useful pieces and sent it off to rolla heaven, Stripped un needed interior bits out of it to make it uber lightweight, sound deadener removed. I have also made a sidepipe out of the spare stock exhaust pipe. Sounds beefy but has a nasty back off sound above 4,500RPM. Wants some back pressure. Just picked up this one on Friday, the ol' girl had to come all the way from Queensland, but the price was right so it was worth it. It's an old 1980 liftback corona, rt132 model, always been a fan of these lifbacks. This ones got a vinyl top too :y: It's had a supercharged 1g-gze from a imported Chaser Advante front cut, 5 speed box from a ra60 Celica, power steering rack from... (can't remember right now but will update) and it goes hard! Engine bay needs a good clean up, and body could do with a full detail.

Hey all, I recently just got a AE71 Spirit. It has a modplated 4age, t50 gearbox, 2.5inch exhaust (no extractors tho) lowered all round on king springs with a full set of Watanabe's (black 15's with polished lip) The interior is pretty good exept it has no carpet and the drivers seats is a little uncomfortable. also has a sunroof the front end is pretty dodgy (rust & damage) but i plan to replace all guards and lights ect ect. and the rear guards have rust and a lil bit dented. but i plan on getting the rear fixed up. Was thinking bout getting a new shell but i do like the sunroof and is a fair bit of work changing everything over. ill keep everyone posted on…

In completion of my AE86 project (which has been promoted to my 'Sunday Fun-day car, this is a very high rank) I have bought myself a pre-facelift KE25... for some reason. Have scored myself so far, KE20 1200 HI-Delux front guards, bonnet (not pictured) and grill setup from Japan TE27 Trueno rear tail lights from Japan 4k and K40 locally I predict that this will be a 2+ year long project, but looking forward to it none the less! The car will be painted XR6 orange via a workshop where i know a guy ;) I have a j-spec mazda B6T engine that i plan to transplant into her, using an MX5 gearbox (since the motor was east-west from FWD tx3).
